Fantastic game and highly recommended. Great to play solo, even better with friends. If able to get over the initial learning curve you'll fall in love with a game that will keep you entertained long after the story is over.

Arguably THE best game in the Monster Hunter franchise (competing with Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate which holds a special place in my heart) and soon to be even greater with the release of Iceborne.

If you had asked me if this game was worth the purchase prior to the 16/10/2015 id have said yes.

Now? Definitely not.

OVERKILL went back on their word by adding microtransactions into the game (shame on us for thinking otherwise!) in the form of stat-increasing gun skins.

Hell, even after the backlash and aftermath from the Black Market update they have continued to spit in the face of the community by also adding XP and cash bonuses to said gun skins.

A good game ruined by the greed of OVERKILL.
