Early Access Review
This is Battlefield except here they didn't try too reinvent the wheel, they have taken a recipe that everyone likes, improved it, and slapped a friendly price tag on it.

When you first open the game and play your first match you will probably think, "This looks like Roblox", that thought will immediately vanish when you get shot in the head by some ♥♥♥♥ in a building 500m away, being replaced by "I'm gonna kill that sniper with a suicide bomb". If that is not the essence of battlefield then i don't know what is.

Now the game is early access and it goes without saying that the game has some issues, but at least none as bad as BF2042 (♥♥♥♥ that game).
Snipers are far too abundant, whenever you leave cover you WILL get sniped 9/10 times before you even register the 20 scope glints all pointed in your direction, recently i have had experiences where ALMOST HALF the enemy team played snipers, 60 snipers on the enemy team made it impossible to move anywhere and my team was basically stuck in spawn. easy fix for this is simply limiting the amount of snipers on each team.
As for medics the issue isn't as much about there being too many, rather that they are too OP, because one medic can revive 20 players in a life and they can revive the same person over and over again, meaning that snipers and a medics can simply set up shop far away, and basically never die.
And ofc there is a few weapons that need nerfing, especially the vector which is currently a laser-beam of a bullet hose.
these are just balancing issues, common in any new game and i'm grateful that these are the only issues i have found.

That aside, if you're looking for battlefield, you've found it.

Performance is a gamble at best when you buy this game.
I got it for 50% off and it still isn't worth the price.

I spent the better part of 4 hours trying to get this game to at least 60FPS, and i was jumping around editing ini files in the game folder which shouldn't be necessary, but that is what you have to do.
Doing all this work to get the game to stop stuttering every 2 seconds wasn't easy, and by the time i had somewhat resolved the issue, i was not interested in playing anymore.

At last my best effort brought the game to a semi stable 30FPS with all settings on low in 1080P, when GeForce reccomended maxed out settings across the board in 4K with DLSS on Quality (Upscaling 1440P to 4K).

My specs are.
GPU - ASUS RTX 3080 TUF OC (Overclocked).
CPU - i9-12900K (Also overclocked).
RAM - 32GB RAM - 5200MHz
SSD - SN850X - 7300/6300MB/s
OS: Windows 11

Safe to say that my PC is not the issue.
All overclocks are good and stable, good temperatures as well.
Additionally i did a fresh install of windows less then a month ago so that is PROBABLY not the issue, and all drivers are up to date, even motherboard BIOS.
GPU utilisation is at 100% all the time the game is running as well.

This MIGHT (strongly doubt it) be an issue on my end, but i have read a bunch of posts stating similar problems with similar specs.

My recommendation is that you buy the game if you want it as it is a genuinely good game, and as stated you might not have any issues at all, but if you do have issues don't bother trying advanced fixes as i have.
Do the bare minimum.

1) Verify integrity of game files through Steam.
2) Update/reinstall graphics drivers.
3) Update other drivers. (I use Driver Booster but any driver updater is fine)
4) Restart PC

And if all else fails their is 1 last thing that MIGHT work.

5) Reset your PC and do a clean reinstall of Windows. This is probably your best chance of resolving the issue but it's still not guaranteed that this will work, as the issue might not be on your end, this is the only thing i did not do, as it honestly wasn't worth it to me after almost 4 hours of troubleshooting.

If these fail, get a refund. Don't play more then 2 hours.

Relic Entertainment and SEGA ought to be ashamed.

They clearly spent more on advertisements and bribing 3rd rate "critics" to say that the game is good, rather than developing the game and making it good.
(WTF even is "pocket-lint.com"?)

Anyway.
The game feels like a pre alpha build only for testers, it's heavily lacking in features, is full of bugs, sound is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and the graphics are disappointing.
And to top it all off, it Incorporates "Denuvo Anti-tamper" which is notorious for FPS rape.
I get 30 fps average in 1440p with an RTX 3080 on the highest settings (Because of Denuvo no doubt)

In addition to this the pricing is outrageous because the game is regionally priced.
I currently live in Norway, and here the game costs almost 10% of my monthly salary. Relic clearly thinks we're communists that share the oil money equally between our 5,5 million people.
And from what I've heard, it costs more than the average monthly salary in Turkey. (heard it in conversation, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was true).

TLDR:
SEGA should have stuck to Sonic.
And Relic Entertainment should go ♥♥♥♥ themselves!

Not only did the game crash... IT CRASHED MY ENTIRE PC.
The crash was so severe IT BROKE MY DRIVERS (Yes plural). And the only way that i was able to fix it was by RESETING MY PC (Not restart it RESET)
Never in my life have i seen such a small game do so mush damage.

And no this was not a hardware issue. i have a RTX 3080, 16 GB's of RAM and an i9-9900K.
