Okay so I played it for 10 hours straight when my internet decided to commit suicide and what people say about the waves being annoying I personally don't think they're that bad. I've only played on Hard mode as I didn't want to start out with insane immediately and it gives a real sense of progression if you upgrade your tree as at first you died almost instantly, but after the mentioned upgrades you just blast through stuff (Until you accidentally stumble into a new region, hit a gong and die within 2 seconds). The hordes give it sort of a bullet hell feel which is challenging in it's own right and with the correct perks you can actually survive with some effort.

I rate it an "The amount of Hunter lasers in an endless horde at once / 10"
