It's Portal, of course I'd recommend it.
Really stellar game for people new to gaming too. Take you through the basics with a solid narrative, good atmosphere and interesting puzzles that don't get old.
If you've never played Portal, you really should.
And then pick up Portal 2.

Recensione della versione in accesso anticipato
I've only just started Act 4 so I may come back and edit this once I have a bigger picture, but as a rhythm game enthusiast, I'm sad I didn't pick this up sooner. I started it thinking it might be too simple but the way they expand on the rhythm mechanics is really interesting and really amps up the difficulty, but not in any way that feels unfair or hokey. It's such a clean game with a lot of pockets of joy and a narrative you can get invested in.

And it's been said already, but this game is innovative. No spoilers from me but there have already been a few moments where I've been in awe of what the game's doing. So so incredible, I haven't been so surprised and impressed by a game in a long time.

Incredible stuff, even in Early Access it's definitely worth a buy and a play. The current version seems pretty stable and polished, up to the point I've gotten to. If the completed game keeps this fresh feeling and the standard of the current version, it's gonna be one of the GOATs.

A beautiful game, the use of the blinking mechanic is very much immersive and intuitive and sits you right into the character of Benny. I found a number of times I was welling up with tears and fighting the urge to blink, and sometimes I blinked accidentally because I was so relaxed in a scene that I didn't realise it. The story is heart tugging and well written, the visual representations of feeling are stunning and hit close to home. Clearly a game made with a lot of love and a lot of heart. So glad I picked this up. It's about 1.5 hours long, so somewhat feels like an immersive movie, but you can make certain choices in the narrative so it feels more personal along the way.

Would definitely recommend this tearjerker for a quiet, rainy evening, with a cup of tea to comfort you and a pint of water to replenish your tears.

I have had Spin Rhythm for a WHILE now and I always come back to it. The control system is intuitive and easy to pick up, it's so satisfying when you play well, the graphics are gorgeous and tailored to each song. The songs themselves are diverse and incredible in their own right - I listen to a lot of them regularly now when I'm not even playing the game. It's one of the best rhythm games out there currently and I highly recommend it to anyone - the easy difficulty is easy enough for newbies to the genre to get used to how it all works, medium and hard difficulties are fun and let you enjoy the music (I genuinely just feel like *I'm* DJing when I play sometimes) and the expert and XD difficulties pose a true challenge that take some grinding to achieve.

It's a fantastic game, so happy to see it come out of early access and become fully fledged. If you're not sure, take my word and the word of so many others - there's clearly a lot of love behind this game and it shows. You'll find a new addiction in Spin Rhythm XD.

Nice little psychology quiz, some interesting questions and I liked the advice at the end. Some of it was, as other have said, very "woooOOOoooo somebody's wATcHiNg yOu" but I enjoyed it.

I've seen, particularly on the community page, a lot of people who complete hate this game and think that the characters are boring or flat. I strongly beg to differ. Also a lot of people who think missing out another game with Chloe and Max was a big mistake. Again, I beg to differ.

It took me a while to decide to pick up this game. When I saw glimpses of it originally, I thought it would fall flat and be boring. I wanted to see Chloe and Max again too. I was kinda lost - but last week I finally got the game in a sale and I've been enraptured ever since I started playing.

Life is Strange touches on difficult topics, and LiS2 digs even deeper. I found myself learning more about the perspective of someone I don't relate to personally. It's not about being 'woke', it's about representation. We also got to see more of a different supernatural ability with different consequences to Max's. I'm really interested to see where this expands for the next game, if we find out more about where the power comes from and why these people. I mean, it's not likely but Max and Daniel could meet, that would be sick.

Every character I saw had depth. You could see their motivations and their personalities. They weren't just there as "plot devices" but as people. I understand the complaints about, oh, we don't see enough of so-and-so but when you're moving on the road that much, the chance of you sticking with new people for long amounts of time is kind of unlikely. Might have been nice to see little videos between characters for the amounts of time that the player 'isn't there', like between Episodes 2-3 where they meet up with Cassidy and Finn again or between Episodes 4-5 when they settle down in Away for a bit . The writers did a great job telling us about these experiences in the script but maybe as bonus content, it might have been nice to see.

The player choice and consequence is massively improved since the first game. I feel Sean's influence on Daniel a lot more than I felt Max's influence on most people in LiS 1. Seeing people complain about Daniel not agreeing with you or being a brat - he's nine and he's scared. I never really found him extremely annoying because it's hard to understand the perspective of a kid in that position. Additionally, you may not have been making the right decisions to keep him trusting in you, because I barely experienced that kind of annoyance. I think I was only truly annoyed at him when he messed up my knife throwing . He's a kid and even if he ages mentally throughout the game, he's still easily influenced. And the endings! I thought I accidentally spoiled myself for the ending but I got there and it turns out, I wasn't. Having more endings, thank you very much. And having an overall view of how Daniel was influenced to see the world was interesting too.

Anyway. If you're ready to take on the position of a big brother, please pick up this game. Like anything in life, some of the choices are extremely difficult to make and you won't always make the right ones, but it was an incredible experience for me and I'm sure it will be for many others too.

I gotta say - best Christmas present ever. Thank you brother.

Rebirth (and Afterbirth, might I add) takes the original Binding of Isaac and does exactly what it should do. As the saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. But everything it has added has been very necessary and makes the experience even more enjoyable than the original - three save files as opposed to one, controller compatibility, more enemies, more items, more awesome - basically. The graphics and art style hasn't changed much but it's noticeable, and I like it. The pixelation and slightly darker colouring is most certainly appreciated. And the controls as a whole are a lot more comfortable. I can't return to the original now without it feeling heavier in comparison.

A job well done, and a game I will probably enjoy for weeks and months to come.

Not sure how to feel about this game.

I've realised it's certainly difficult to pick up if you've left it for a while, and the game itself is rather clunky throughout. Lili herself is somewhat charming though, and the concept of the game is pretty interesting. The issue I find is that my laptop can handle most games, but even on the lowest resolution, Lili seems to stutter and stumble. Maybe if you have a good gaming computer this could be for you? But I'm not sure personally. I'll keep playing if my patience holds out.

Overall? Eh... it's alright.

An interesting experience, definitely.

I am yet to finish Psychonauts, but I will probably be fully completing this game. The concepts and twisted psychology of the whole experience is almost mesmerising to get your head around, and explaining the game to others definitely becomes a challenge, as the story and game sound a lot creepier than they feel. Exploring the minds of numerous people and simply playing this story is a treat.

Though, I've gotta say. Milkman. *shudder*

Still, brilliant. :)
