I only played for about an hour before coming to recommend this.
At time of writing, this game is $1.99 on the Winter Sale, and for that price I heartily recommend it. (And from what I've played, normal price of $10 is also very reasonable for the amount of content)

If you played any sandbox like Flash Games in the 2000's this game will feel very familiar. Imagine those, with a bunch more options, modding support, huge maps and loads of tools to satisfy your palette. Variety is the spice of death as well as life.

You have a Sandbox populated with Human Ragdolls, (OR Androids if you have moral qualms with killing people) Building parts, Guns, Explosives, and a whole bunch of other weird stuff to play with to your hearts twisted desire.

This game is the essence of "Simple, yet satisfying" destruction physics, slow motion, explosions, gore, huge scale maps and LOADS of possibilities. The mechanics are simple on the surface, but offer a lot of flexibility. Definitely enjoying the purchase, I can see this becoming a regular mindless fun game in my library.

Is it bad to enjoy the detailed, intricate and creative destruction of little human caricatures? It very may well be, but you'd have a hard time arguing how enjoyable it is. Spend 10 Minutes blowing up or shooting ragdolls, or spend some time making something truly wacky and spectacular, the choice is yours, but I guarantee if you enjoyed Sandbox like flash games in the 2000's, this game is sure to please.

A pleasant combination of a Rogue-Lite and a Deck Builder, that will have you leaping for joy when you get your perfect deck, but will also teach you to knuckle down and work with what you have at times. The variety in characters is good, and just keeps getting better with The Watcher. It also manages to tackle story in a way that most other Rogue-Lites have failed to in the past, giving your character random events that build and change them as well as provide context on the world they're in. The Daily Runs are a load of fun shenanigans, with a leaderboard to keep you striving to up your game. If my gushing thus far hasn't convinced you, if you enjoy Rogue-Lites, Deck-Builders, and a game that will give you a definite run for your money, you owe it to yourself to check out Slay The Spire.

There's not much I can really do to "Sell" you Undertale. Its an Indie RPG with the whole random quirky humor thing going on, but also some deep and dramatic story telling. But you've probably already heard that. What I can tell you that will make you want to play this, is the words of one of my favorite game reviewers, Yahtzee.

While he never published a proper review of Undertale, because he didn't want to spoil anything, he wanted to include it in his "Best/Worst of 2015" video. For these videos he has a rule, nothing in the list can be something he didn't review. To bypass this rule for Undertale, he gave it a 5 second review that included one four word line of dialouge.

"Undertale is really good." - Yahtzee

If THAT does not sell you Undertale, I'm not quite sure what will. All I have to say, is if you're considering it? Get it. You likely won't regret it. Mind you, this game won't hook you in right away, give it a chance for its indie charm to set in, once it does, you'll be along for Toby Fox's wild ride. And OH what a wild ride it is.

I picked up this game during the Winter Sale, under the premise of: "I need something to play while i'm waiting to install everything else I want to play." It turned out being one of the best deals I got.
Pros:
>Very good soundtrack. (Props to DJ Finish Him)
>Fun Combat mechanics, all with one attack button.
>VERY Challenging (Or maybe I suck at platformers. :P)
>Level badges add for good replay value.
Cons:
>The story is fairly simple, but still leaves the player with questions at the end.
>The keyboard controlls are a tad clunky. Expect wrist-aches from prolonged play sessions. (Easy fix, I reccommend Motion n Joy, lets you use a Ps3 controller.)

This game is definately something to consider. Smooth mechanics, amazing weapons, lots of vulgar humor and trickshots galore. What's not to like? Also noteworthy, is that this game combines a humorous characters and conversations, and at the same time, tells of a darker background story, and pulls it off extremely well. There are only two reasons I wouldn't recommend this. 1) It's hard to get Games for Windows to work, took me ten minutes and an account i'll never use. 2) Although it seems the plot would be resolved in the end, the developers left it on a cliffhanger. Now that's not bad, except when a part two is not going to happen.

One of my friends gifted this to me on my birthday. I'll be honest, at first my thoughts were "meh. it looks alright." However, after playing it through, I found it was way better than that. Where to start, the naration is absolutely amazing, the soundtrack rocks, the game play starts easy, but can be made insanely tough, and if you're looking for an epic story, look no further. All in all, this is one of those games that i'll remember for being life changing.
(TL:DR) If you didn't have time to read all that, than read this. If you're thinking about getting Bastion? Do it. It is one of the greatest games you'll ever play.
