This is the buggiest game that has ever been made, and the only thing they give a ♥♥♥♥ about is fixing things that would pay out 1 cent more than they are supposed to. Meanwhile, there are multiple gamebreaking bugs that have existed for the better part of 10 years. Not only is it filled with bugs, it also has a paper "anticheat" coded in scratch by 2 junior developers and a cat, so the "online" portion has to be played in private lobbies, or else the modders, who are at this point practically admins, crash/kick you out of the game, blow you up on repeat, put a campfire on top of you that will kill you every time you respawn (that you can't get rid of unless you restart the game), and get your IP and Rockstar ID, which lets them follow you into INVITE/FRIEND ONLY sessions and crash your game as soon as you go back online. It became so bad some people get mod menus just so other modders can't crash their games (because apparently some random people can make an anti crash/kick system but a multi-billion dollar company can't).

But if you somehow still want to play the game and want to maybe buy some cars and drive around with friends or whatever you will have to make money first and 80% of the missions were designed to frustrate you into buying shark cards so get ready for slow moving delivery vehicles that you can't upgrade and have to drive around hills to the other side of the map for 30 minutes for a mediocre payout since one of the only good missions they ever made got nerfed about 3 or 4 times and is now as frustrating as every other mission and now has a 2.5 hour cooldown (that you will actually have to wait for in game if you wish to get the bonus money from hard mode) with a lower payout than it had originally and the other one got its payout and cooldown cut so it went from a thing you do once in a while to another one of the constant grinds. Congratulations! You now have enough money to buy a car you want, but oh wait, Rockstar removed nearly 200 vehicles from the game on the pretense of "a more streamlined experience" and are now drip feeding them back every week for some additional FOMO and frustration, so the chances are the car you want is not even available anymore. The only "Grand Theft" in this game is the theft of your time and money, and the only part of the game I can actually recommend is the singleplayer (I haven't played FiveM, but I bet its better than the official online).

This game has managed to single-handedly lower my expectations for GTA 6 and anything else Rockstar will make to 0.
