Early Access Review
After about 5 hours, I've had nothing but fun with this game. Not sure why the negative reviews are talking about when say they spend most of the time repairing the ship or putting out fires. I've not had that problem yet. It must be a skill issue.

Game needs some polishing, more enemies to fight, etc. I'll update this as I get more time in the game.

DLC is great. It lives up to the main game. If you don't mind exploring on your own, it can be a great game to get through. Not sure where most of the complaints come from. There's a few flaws, but it doesn't take away from the overall atmosphere.

If you enjoy the idea of Raft and Subnautica, I suggest trying the game out. My review is based on playing the game in single player. It does not reflect co-op.

I started this game back when it first came out in Early access. Recently I picked the game up again to give it another go. As with most survival games, there are gauges to monitor your food, water, and energy. Playing on the default settings, I believe I found myself having to refill my gauge once every 30-60 minutes? Which is honestly pretty easy compared to some games out there.

Next, if you're not shy of reading, the story-line is interesting. I won't go into details as to not spoil it.

General progression - As terms of progression, I honestly believe you progress as fast as you want. If you sit idle and crawl from quest-to-quest, you'll probably progress a bit slower in terms of building your ship and unlocking technology. But if you don't mind exploring the side locations, you'll progress rather quickly in terms of ship building and technology unlocks. Obvious the juicy tech (Like the Auto extractor, which automatically gathers floating resources for you) is located in main quest areas.

Machines - I will admit, handling batteries for the machines can get slightly tedious. But as long as you have the resources in your bin, it's not too terrible. I would personally recommend to the devs to create a central point of handling power around the mid-game. (Maybe solar panels?) I mean our turbines, auto fishers, and metal collectors are getting magical power.

Farms - You can grow and harvest plants on your ship. Toward the mid game, you do unlock a way to automatically irrigate your greenhouse. But like most survival games with a farming option, it can be a little tedious to grow plants if you decide to go crazy with it.

Ship Building - You get to customize your own airship. You could build a whole mansion in the sky if you want. Most of the building blocks are locked at the beginning, but the farther into the game you are, the more building blocks you can unlock.

To summarize this up, If you don't like to play a game with basic survival mechanics (That require you to eat, drink, or sleep periodically) then this isn't for you. If you like a good story, ship building, and don't mind the survival mechanics, I recommend you check it out.

Played the game a handful of times over the past few years and somehow forgot to leave a review. I personally really enjoy the story. The puzzles really aren't that difficult. I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about regarding it. Some negative reviews point out that the game puts you under pressure. If this game is putting you under pressure... Oh boy wait until you see the real world.

Here's the idea, if you like a good story and don't mind using your brain to complete puzzles this is a good game for you. If you don't like puzzles or you're scared of timed events, this is not a game for you.

Play with some friends and don't take the game seriously. We died 3 times in a row laughing after we stepped on a whoopie cushion. Definitely worth the 5 bucks. Would play this game.

Pro tip: Don't sneeze while playing or your head might pop off.

Today is a victory for democracy. The automatons at Sony Headquarters have been defeated my friends. We can rejoin in victory my replanting democracy in the reviews!

Lets Go!!

Game is amazing! I always tell myself I'm only going to play for 2 hours... then end up playing for 12.

FYI - I don't know how some people have their rigs set up, but I can run the game smoothly @ 1440p at MAXIMUM settings

My setup:
i9-9900K / RTX 2080TI / Samsung Evo 970 plus SSD

For those of you that think you have a better setup, make sure you're not installing the game on a HDD. Use a SSD.

Planet Crafter is an amazing game. It's extremely easy to learn. Easy to play and not too hard on the technical side of things. The team that's created this game obviously put a lot of care and effort into it. The visuals are stunning and the gameplay is smooth. I was planning on playing this for 4 hours last night and ended up playing it for 8.

There are are few bugs here and there, but it's an early access game and the bugs I encountered so far are not game breaking.

I'd personally give this a 9/10.

A Co-OP multiplayer Mode would be an incredible feature for the game.

So far, I've played Occupy: Mars for roughly 15-16 hours. Out of those 15-16 hours, it started as a bumpy ride. (All puns aside.)

Campaign - Honestly, I didn't care too much for this. Some of the story needs to be rewritten, as the intro seems to be more of doing chores than actually doing anything fun. The story-mode base also needs some navigation assistance (Such as signs) to help you around the base that appears to be a maze. I wandered around the base for an hour until I got bored and quit.

Free-play is where the game takes hold of you and prevents you from leaving your computer. Free-play takes a moment to get used to (Like many sandbox games). But once you start playing, you'll find yourself wandering around, exploring bases, mining rocks, and building a place to call home on the red planet.

Side notes to take away from this - This game is a little more on the technical side / slightly difficult to manage at the start. It will take a little extra time to get used to how things work.

My overall ratings:

7.5/10

Graphics - The graphics could use some improvement, but it doesn't harm the game experience.
Optimization - A small handful of times, I experienced a very short but severe frame droppage (Specs below). This usually occurs if you travel long distances at a relatively high speed (Such as traveling by rover). But it's not often.
Entertainment - The two days I've played this, I found myself playing in 6-8 hour parts.

Overall, this game has great potential. I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes. There are a few bugs here and there - but that's to be expected since the game has been early release for a week.

My setup (In reference to the optimization information)

CPU - i9-9900k
GPU - RTX-2080 Ti
SSD - Samsung 970 EVO plus
RAM - 64GB DDR4 DRAM @ 3600MHz

Just got done playing the whole story for Deliver Us Mars. This Game is amazing!

First off - Ignore the bottom feeders with less than 2 hours on the game that left negative reviews. These are from people who didn't even give the game a chance.

Graphics - 8/10 - The surrounding scenery is beautiful. I found myself exploring quite a bit of the surrounding areas just to see what I could find. The reason I dropped 2 points is because there are certain spots where I don't think the developers were expecting players to go, some rock textures didn't load in correctly. But you have to travel about 5 Km in the wrong direction for that. Next, there seems to be a collision issue with some characters hair. During a couple cutscenes, it looks like somebody took a static balloon to their hair, but for a very short split second.

Storytelling / Storyline - 15/10 - You're buying this game for the amazing story. You don't have to play "Deliver us the Moon", but I highly recommend it as it would make things so much better, as they do tend to reference some events from the game. There's many small Easter Eggs, it's great. The game literally feels like I'm in a movie.

Interest - 10/10 - The game had me beyond hooked. I anticipated a 5 hour game, because that's how long Deliver Us the Moon was. But, I ended up spending 9 consecutive hours on the game.

I also ran this game at as high of settings as I could get them at 1440p and ran at a constant 60-80fps which is fine for a game like this.

MY setup:
CPU: i9-9900k
GPU - RTX 2080-ti
RAM - 32Gb DDR4
SSD - Samsung Evo 970 pro

Bit of advice from an IT guy:
If your game keeps crashing every 5-30 minutes - restore your NVIDIA Control panel back to defaults - You likely changed some settings, preventing the game from doing what it needs to do. This will fix your crashes 9/10 times.
