I entered the world of space strategy strangely with Spore
oh how the world of space games has evolved
I played endless space before i played Stellaris, and i am enjoying the complexity of this game a lot.

The diplomacy is fun, being able to absorb other empires with enough time as a vassal, getting pulled into a war you cant win with your neighbour by your federation because you were playing on fastest speed and wasnt paying attention effectively dooming your game because you cant change the war, though sucks, is quite entertaining.

its hard to scam the AI with trading resources, although always good to get metal over time just for a couple of favours from multiple empires to sell on the market boosting your own economy.

Combat is a simple, its just a numbers game, but be sure to keep an eye on the power level of a space station, that 5k fleet could be going up against a 15k space station.
inferior fleet power doesn't mean they cant get more ships, economy is power.


this game can make you feel powerless even when you own 1/3 of the galaxy sometimes.
very fun game, nice aesthetics and plenty of race customisation
