At the core of PS2 is a fun game, but it is held back by the incompetence of it's developer, which cannot keep server performance at a playable level and refuses to put any effort into vanquishing the frequent and blatant hacking griefers. The fact that so many of us put up with has more to do with the recent failings of the Battlefield franchise recently than with good decisions at DayBreak. So feel free to come play, but be warned you are getting into a very flawed game.

Probably the best original score for a video game ever. Absolutely epic.

Has some bugs (nothing game breaking as long as you save the game a lot) but is still the absolute best way to experience the original Half-Life story. Crowbar Collective stayed reasonably close to the original game but did made a few subtle improvements. I think they struck the right balance between faithfulness to a classic title and improvements to playability. If you fancy yourself a PC game aficionado play the original 1998 Half-Life, this, and then Half Life 2 and see how things have changed over the years
