Of all the rogue-like games I have played, none have matched the depth of Binding of Isaac. There's countless items to unlock, unlimited synergies between items, tons of unique characters, and of course, challenge. The Repentance DLC changes up the game a lot. Aside from all the new content, the DLC also balances the game into a state I would consider much harder that Afterbirth+. The amount of time and skill required to unlock everything in this game alone warrants a buy. It is definitely worth the money.

Very fun to play with friends. A little scary at first, but after awhile of playing you get used to most jump scares. The leveling system is pretty fair, and it's fun to try out different perk builds.

I picked up this game after watching a MagikarpUsedFly video. The games he exposed were all indie games that he thought deserved more recognition, and after looking at them all, I decided Wizard of Legend was the one I wanted to get first. Let me say, the experience is very fun. The game is not physically demanding as I can play it on my school laptop, something that is always nice about games. Wizard of Legend provides a fun experience and while it is difficult, it is very rewarding. The feeling of progressing further into the game and amassing more arcana is awesome. Not to mention, the feeling of heading into a boss fight late into the game and just mashing all my buttons, hoping I can kill it is very fun. Binding of Issac was really my introduction into rogue like games, and I spent many hours in class roaming through the game. One thing I like more about Wizard of Legend is the ability to head into the game with a "build." While Issac does have its different characters and it wouldn't really make sense to be able to pick and choose perks to take in with you, Wizard of Legend's system fits perfectly. The ability to make your own build does not make the game much less difficult as there is still the RNG factor of finding certain arcana or items to synergize with your build. Overall, I really enjoy Wizard of Legend as a fun Rogue-Like game to pickup, and it is definitely worth the money.
