This had so much potential. I can't believe they didn't include body modification.
Maybe It'll be great one day if they pull a no man's sky.

Valve is still on top of its game. This isn't next level this is boss level. The detail of pretty much everything is beyond belief. I've had the pleasure of experiencing many fine games in decades past but this... this is something else. Words cannot describe. They should have sent a poet.

This game certainly left an impression. Very non traditional somtimes dreamy surrealistic gameplay, looks gorgeous but the main attraction is the heartfelt story that packs quite an emotional punch. It's pretty short but all the sweeter for it. Definitely worth checking out!

Yep, it's exactly as good as everyone says. Limbo was just an appetiser. I'm excited to see what these guys will do next.

This game plays and feels like portal which is very high praise. It exhibits a similar flow that has you moving from area to area, solving puzzles to progress, all of it set in an immersive and mysterious environment. The puzzles are great but the real hook is the science fiction story. As you advance through the game you learn more about yourself and the environment and this provides an immense drive to keep going. It doesn't take long before you are introduced to the tower. When God forbids you to climb it, it speaks for itself that you are going to do everything it takes to get up there... or should you?

I would never have imagined Croteam, the developers behind Serious Sam to produce such an intelligent and emotionally powerful game. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Serious Sam, but this is truly something completely different. All games are works of art and entertainment but this one defintiely verges more towards the art side of the equation.

I bought this game on a whim when it was on sale for 1,49 EUR after having heard it was something weird but fun... Since then it's probably become one of the VR games I've returned to the most. Talk about getting bang for you buck! You can't really be told what Blarp! is, you have to experience it for yourself. Videos don't do it justice. This is a game made for VR that simply wouldn't exist without it. It feels like a future sport dreamed up by someone on extremely potent hallucinogenic drugs. There's a bit of a learnig curve and you'll prolly start out thinking something like "wtf is this" but before you know it you'll be chasing your highscore while endlessly repeating to yourself "just one more time".

This game offers a glimpse into the future of VR. Although it's short, it's the first title with a level of polish similar to that of a triple A production. The first half hour will be spent like you are on drugs with you staring at your virtual hands, repeatedly opening then closing them while giggling uncontrollably. The inventory and menu system alone is worth the price of admission. Everything in this world you can touch, pick up and interact with. The eye for detail is simply astonishing.

There's exploration, mystery, adventure, humor, puzzling and some tense moments. Call of the Starseed has got it all. The finale, the last half hour of the game, will without doubt provide enormous goosebumps. I've finished CotS in one sitting, took me about 3 hours and I'd say it was well worth the 30 EUR I paid for it. When I finally removed my HMD I just sat there wide eyed for a couple of minutes, dreaming of the astounding possibilities this perfect marriage of creativity and technology will enable going forwards. Episode 2 can't get here fast enough!

Easily one of the best horror games ever made. Personally, I don't think I've ever played a game with production values higher than those on display in Alien: Isolation. The visuals; the overall design as well as the technical lighting, smoke and fire effects, together with the blood-curdling score and ruthless alien AI, create an amazing and wholly authentic 70s retrofuture atmosphere positively dripping with tension. The eye for detail exhibited by the developers is simply stunning. This is as close as you are going to get to experience life and death in Ridley Scott's 1979 Alien.

"I can't lie to you about your chances, but... you have my sympathies." -Ash

Nerve-racking to such a degree it might cause you to develop PTSD... 10/10 - Will play again!

Play. This. Game.

Perhaps I should warn that, although Gone home is a First Person game, you don't get to shoot anything. Instead it requires you to apply your reading, listening and observational skills. It's pretty short but what an experience! If you are looking for something story driven that is truly different, Gone Home most certainly delivers.
