While beeing a bit short, and sadly missing multiplayer.
Its a really well rounded Experience with even some replay value.
Got to the end fight in my first run, but was clapped in the second or third phase of the boss .
I also think the path up to the boss feels a bit weird, especially since you cant upgrade anymore and the plot only kick for the first time.
Would still recommend and would suggest to buy at full price to support the developers if its possible.

Definetly a nice Shooter with a new spin on the gameplay, the destruction is really fun and while the loadout options are odd. I think they encourage teamplay as nobody can be a one man army. Heavily skill based gameplay as you have to adjust your loadout to your playstyle and vice versa

Fantastisches Spiel, wirklich für Koop geschaffen mit einem Tiefgreifenden, aber doch recht verständlichem, Magiesystem und einen wirklich gut passendem Styl von Storytelling und Design in Gameplay und Grafik.

Ein paar Ecken hat es zwar auch, es ist nämlich schon kurz (6.6 Stunden haben wir gebraucht, man könnte aber auch schneller sein, wir haben auf Hart gespielt und mit wenig Abwechslung in Sprüchen), bietet aber auch noch ein wenig weitere Herausforderungen die ich noch nicht betrachtet habe und bei 9 euro, aber besonders in den regelmäßigen Angeboten, ist die länge doch auch vertragbar.
Die Maps könnten größer sein und die Optimierung scheint nicht hohe Relevanz gehabt zu haben.
Dafür funktioniert der Multiplayer, für eine Paradox spiel, sehr gut und ist auch sehr unkompliziert. Vollkommen ohne Lobby oder irgendwas einfach einladen, fortsetzen klicken und los geht der Spaß.

A Game wich really shows, how VR Interfaces, Inputs and Gameplay should be handled. Very natural feeling (despite the very unnatural act of summoning ROCK) and especially a existing and interesting lerningcurve, so actual skill has to be developed.
Some people have Problems with how the Matchmaking and Ranking works, but I think it is only logical to not overwhelm beginners with possabilitys and moves, so that they can learn the basics, get introduced new moves step by step and espacially only let them advance when their are proficient with their moveset.

And the matchmaking even works with like 30 Players in Europe most of the Time within minutes, wich would be a real struggle for some far more popular games!

Ewig auf dem Markt, wird aber auch immer besser.
Gerade erst das neue DLC High Sea ausprobiert, fantastisch und bringt auch wirklich neue Sachen in das Spiel und ergänzt es sinnvoll und aufbauend.
Insgesamt ist Forts für mich ein Spiel, das ich bedenkenlos jeden meiner Freunde empfehle und mit dem ich immer wenn ich es spiele Spaß habe. Eine aktive Modding-Community gibt es auch, also falls es mal ruhiger in den Updates wird, kann man auch auf einen riesigen Katalog da zurückgreifen.
Auch der Singelplayer ist nett zum Zeitvertreib und bietet einige Herausforderungen und erzählt eine witzige Story. Fazit, sehr schönes Spiel.

Ein wahres Meisterwerk des Game Designs, so wie auch schon der Vorgänger.
Einfach entspannend, aber auch fordern, je nachdem welche Ambitionen man hat.
Kann man einfach nur empfehlen.

EIn absolut empfehlenswerter Taktikshooter der sich immer weiter verbessert!
