The game excels in storytelling, character development, and atmospheric design, with intuitive and unique gameplay mechanics that blend exploration, and investigation. This game is not challenging, it's not a detective sim. But it really does follow an intriguing world and by the time you reach the end (roughly 5-6 hours for a single playthrough) you'll wish you still had more to go.

it has a few flaws. The lack of a manual save system forces you to start over completely to change decisions. Accessibility options are limited, there will be a couple of consequential button spamming qt events that you can't opt out of. Despite meeting system requirements, I experienced occasional stuttering and a crash, though very frequent auto saves helped. These issues slightly detract from an otherwise fantastic game.

I have a full detailed review on QuestDaily.com.au if you're curious!

If only we could :BENDTIME: ~ Thank you, Arkane Austin for your tireless work in concluding this chapter despite the circumstances. We appreciate each and every one of you. We're all wishing the best for you and cannot wait to see what everyone's next projects are! :Redfall_Bite_Back:

Regardless of the state of it's launch (and I played it PRE-day 1 patch as media), I saw a lot of good things in Redfall. I have two videos diving deep into the game, not just outlining issues, but highlighting the things I loved. Warts and all, it really still found a place in my favourite games of all time - the heartbreaking part is it could have been so much more.

I really really hoped Arkane was making major moves in silence to bring this game back to life. That maybe realisations were made, and some real effort was being put in by those supporting Arkane Austin to let them cook. Instead, we lost the whole Austin team.

You can clearly see the heart of Arkane Austin in this game. And the loss of the entire team is a heavy one.

I still recommend the game when it drops in price - no point splurging if we're no longer supporting the people who made it.

G'day mates, let me spin you a yarn about this ripper of a game called Dinkum. Fair dinkum, it's like chucking a snag on the barbie and crackin' a cold one with the blokes – pure Aussie gold. The gameplay's smoother than a kangaroo's hop, and the graphics are as bonza as a sunset over the Sydney Opera House. The devs must've been on the sauce when they cooked up this beaut, 'cause it's more fun than a game of backyard cricket at the family BBQ. I reckon it's a fair dinkum ripper of a time, and any true blue Aussie gamer would be a galah to miss out on it. So, grab your thongs, crack a tinny, and give Dinkum a burl – you won't be disappointed, mate!
