The game itself is very fun and compelling. The world and its inhabitants are interesting and the mechanics keep you in the world.

Played 2 hours and had a blast before progression was halted by a bug that caused me to be unable to scroll down the build menu in the work yard, which stopped me from progressing down my tech tree. Closed the game to attempt a fix and got back into the game only to find my 2hr save game is gone because there was an update.
I looked this up and found that both the issues have been a recurring problem since May-June. This game should be in Early Access. I have put in a request for a refund but I would love to repurchase the game once it's in an actually playable condition.

TLDR: I like the game alot but, game halting bug and save destroying update convinced me to apply for refund.

I love this game, I really do. 350+hrs on record should speak to this.
The gameplay is compelling and fun. Presentation is fantastic.
The different classes play absolutely beatifully and very distinctly from one another.
The depth of the progression is great; the feeling when you earn new weapons and Fireteams is wonderous.

But it is so, SO hard to recommend to friends because of its PtW nature and bitter community.
A person with a better gun (which can be bought) hands-down will destroy you. Tha game being free slightly lightens the blow but, extreme grinding is practically required to even get the basic SMG (which often sucks) as a free player.
The only reliable way as a free player to get ahead is to hide in a bush and hope they don't see you, or camp corners with your trash starter rifle.

Griefing and trolling is pretty bad: people throwing planes into the ground, tanks running over landed planes. TK-ing is rampant. Pub team mates become toxic and verbally abusive very quickly.
Reporting bad behaviour lacks feedback and feels like you're yelling into a void.

Balance hardly exists and everything feels like its being driven by whales.
I was even driven to spend some in its MTX but immediately felt like i lit $20 on fire.

I have put in 350+ hours and will probably continue to put in more; but unless this ticks a lot of boxes for you, I would advise to keep your distance.

A great and underrated game. Climbing a giant dragon to stab it in the heart is a feature missing in every game.

Get the Mortar. Use it.

Nailing Convoys and camps in the desert with that baby is unbelieveably satisfying.

Dumb game, All you do is click the scene or interact with objects to see some dumb events. And I mean DUMB.
The only faeture i really liked is pressing spacebar to skip events, because thats all i did.
Click all over the scene till something happens, then skip the event.

Complete waste of $0.99.
