Changed review to positive, but want to warn any achievement hunter/completionist about Insane difficulty achievements and potetially bad experience due to issues (including technical) and no saving system.

I really liked this game, when playing it and DLC for 1st time on Normal. Like 8/10. Sure, had minor issues, but it felt like really great cat and mouse stealth horror, which I recommend to anyone who don't care about completing it/getting all achievements.

My main issue is only with 1 thing, which I want to warn any achievement hunter/completionist: Insane difficulty mode and achievements for that.
Not only enemies kill you with 2 (regular) or 1 (special aka "bosses") hits (fine), batteries restricted to 2 and rarely spawn (not hard at all). But it has worst thing ever: no saves at all for relatively long game/DLC. This means any mistake, any technical issue would force you to restart from the beginning. And I had both.

Some spoilers ahead.

I started from DLC.
1st run - I reached pre-last "boss" encounter and died due to my mistake. Tough, but fair.
2nd run - I almost finished, but died in last encounter, since QTE (mouse shaking) didn't register!
3rd run - I stopped in the middle (right before electric fence segment), since after new level loaded I've got unplayable FPS, which didn't fix.
And only on 4th run I was able to beat it. 4 hours in total as result.

Base game.
1st run - I reached fire segment (middle part of a game) and got stuck in object without ability to move!
2nd try - I died in the 3rd chapter, since was noticed by "boss" in complete darkness in slowing water before I was able to notice him first.
3rd run - I died in 2nd chapter, since tried to hide in area after landing on pile of dead and got cornered in a ward.
4th and 5th runs - I died in section near the end, since jumping didn't register in same place, where floor falls down (after you re-obtain camera).
And only 6th run was fully successful. As result 7 hours in total.

And apart from trying Insane for 1st time, it wasn't fun engaging experience, even outside of issues. I remembered almost all sections after 2nd run (aka 1st run on Insane) outside of endnig sections for base game and was able to often navigate without night mode for camera (outside of really dark long parts) to the point that I picked up only few batteries during game and still never had less than 2/2. I basically speedrun it over and over again. It became repetitve and sections with unskippable dialogues became annoying. Though, must admit, at least notes/recordings aren't important to progress.

With all that said, I think that no saving system mode for a game, if even should exist at all should either have game with no serious technical issues (like perfect in this aspect), either game should be really short not to be frustrating and not to provide bad experience. Also game should have some changes per each session, not to become repetitive.
As for Outlast, I really recommend to add savings for Insane at least 1 per chapter, but I know I won't probably be heard.

With taking Insane mode experience, I will give it 4/10.

Very underrated game in my opinion!
Seems to be quite addicting time killer. While having some flaws as every game, has its charm too, which I liked.
There is also quite a bit of content (in terms of faces, upgrades, bosses), while it may seem to be small from first look.
Game also has a bit of rogue-like elements.
The only downside outside of few bugs is that 2 achievements are a bit too grindy, but it still can be shortcuted a bit.

If you want to know more about this game or get some tips and tricks, I recommend to check my guide about it. Be aware - there are spoilers:

I changed my review to positive, since didn't have issues with base game, meanwhile all points regarding Waste of Space DLC still stand and I don't recommensd to buy this game for completionists/achievement hunters.

The game and most of its DLCs were good for me and I had fun with them, but since Waste of Space DLC barely works for me and is required to 100%, I can't recommend this game for those, who can be unlucky enough and want to 100% this game (DLCs achievements count towards total achievements for a game).

For this game+other DLC+Waste of Space DLC - 4/10.

For those, who don't care about this DLC and achievements - I recommend this game and other DLCs, since they allow to goof around a lot and have enough of interesting content.
For this game and other DLCs - 6+/10.

And my first negative review on Steam.

In short:
If you unlucky enough as I am and try to get all achievements in Goat Sim, this DLC may become real nightmare (since DLCs achievements required for 100%). I seriously never encountered such poorly working case – probably one of the worst so far for me and barely playable.
I definitely don't recommend to buy this DLC due to luck factor and if you like to 100% achievements in games I don't recommend to buy game either (even though I didn't encounter any severe issues with any other content in game/other DLCs).
The only at least somehow working solution I found so far is to play in offline mode and get all achievements there, but then in-game progress won't save and each time you relaunch a game you would need to start DLC from start.

Details (relevant for this DLC only):
When I only started it first time it worked fine for Goat Sim, but at some point I got my first crash and these things started to happen:
1. Game may crash/freeze as soon as Waste of Space menu screen starts.
2. Menu screen always has low FPS.
3. Amount of times game crashed when loading level or right at the start of a level is absurd. I spend hours just relaunching game over and over again. This DLC turned into relaunching simulator for me. Sometimes it's low memory crash, sometimes it's empty message crash, sometimes it's crash without any indication, sometimes game freezes. I tried launching over and over again, tried more than ten times to reinstall DLC just to launch it. Best solution I found so far is to start level when main loop part of main menu melody would play 4th time (and even then it crashes periodically).
I tried to switch between DLCs, starting them and then Waste of Space – always leads to crash for Waste of Space. I lowered all settings – no effect. I tried to launch with compatibility mode with Windows XP/7/8 – XP freezes in Main Menu and others have no effect. I also checked integrity of files (everything is fine with files).
I have pretty relevant PC with fine specs and enough memory both virtual and RAM one, so it shouldn't be an issue.
4. Game may freeze/crash in starting building/nearby too, if it didn't crash at the start.
5. First area after small starting room may randomly lead to unplayable FPS (which means, restart and crashes, while loading into a level).
6. Space area may sometimes randomly lead to unplayable FPS (to a point that game menu stops to work and all HUD is flickering). When trying to destroy 100 asteroids sooner or later (but always) FPS becomes unplayable probably due to destroyed asteroid pieces or destroying asteroids in general. Sometimes FPS becomes unplayable after teleporting back to first starting room. Most awful thing about FPS drops in this case is that at some point aim starts jumping all around the screen and laser shoots according to aim to a point it shoots from areas not attached to spaceship. I spent hours to get 100 asteroids and only working solution for me was to use offline mode.
7. Testing labs main road often lead to crash/freeze. I use mountain nearby to approach testing labs from the right, but it may lead to freeze in rare cases (in area where collectible is placed on round object and near goats).
8. Testing labs often lead to crash. Cow may not appear in lab with a lot of shooting robots. Cow didn't fall both times after that area as well (where you need to go through hole with a cow). I'm not sure, if cow even drops from there. I jumped to a tube in ceiling, where cow was stuck (saw cow through textures) and used connector weapon to connect cow to wires. Room changed, but there was invisible wall right near hole. I used ragdoll physics to get through this wall. In area where you need to send down a cow to open last door, I didn't have a cow, since it was stuck in a wall after connecting to wires. I respawned and returned to last testing rooms and found this cow being teleported from wall to room with laser robots, FPS dropped to barely playable level, but I was able to finish last room, got collectible and achievement.
As said, cow may get stuck in walls/objects without ability to kick it out (happened few times). Cow may not follow blue beam, even if attached to it, if it started to stand 1 time, while being attached or if it was kicked one time, when attached. Cow may randomly get stuck while following beam. I spent hours on this.
9. Area with CEO may lead to unplayable FPS, if containers were touched by goat/CEO.
10. Random freezes and crashes.
11. Mutators from Main Menu don't work and always lead to crashes.
12. While before 1st crash Steam overlay worked perfectly fine (like in other levels of Goat Sim), after first crash it stopped to show overlay in game and only showed achievements and opened guide. After reinstalling DLC it stopped showing guide too (still shows overlay/guide during launching to main menu part). During launching game I noticed that page with guide doesn't load anymore, while being opened, I reloaded it and with reloaded guide page, game always crashes upon launching level.
13. Alt+Tab always leads to game freeze with this DLC.

I also wanted to mention that, while I was searching for solution I stumbled upon comment in Steam Goat Sim forum, which suggested to somehow write link to GoatSim news website, so it would fix crashes at the start. But I didn't save this comment and can't find it anymore + all other DLCs working fine without news website at the start of a game.

I'm so happy I can't even describe it at the moment. This game is super fun and engaging.
Enormous thanks to Bethesda.net support team members for helping with my issues that I created on accident!

I'll upvote it just to support what I dreamed for long time and finally was released. Big thanks to CA Developers for greenlighting and creating Coast and putting som much work and effort in this DLC.
I would write my full review later, when I play a bit more.
