I won't lie with this review, I am heavily biased towards Rewrite because of the fact it literally ended up influencing my career path in life; which to the writer's credit is what they set out to do by presenting the world in ideologies.

Rewrite is a fantastic VN that deserves every bit of praise and negative critique it gets. It really stretched the boundaries of what kind of story Visual Arts KEY could tell. It has a fantastic memorable soundtrack and beautifully written characters. To note, there are multiple teams behind each of character routes writing. So if you don't find one to your particular taste, another character's story will feel very different. However, the end message of the entire story is the same and expertly told through the VN medium. It is an unforgettable experience that I believe everyone should sincerely give a try.

I think one of the main appeals of Rewrite is the shock factor of the initial introduction to the story. It goes from a very very lengthy common comedy route to intense crisis that leaves you with many questions without answers. It's interactive in letting you choose how much of it you want to experience. It's fun, mysterious, whimsical, exciting and sometimes downright depressing with its themes. It's best played blind but I highly suggest checking a guide for your route order playthrough if you decide to pick this up since this particular edition (+) has unlocked some formerly locked story progression.
