This is hands down one of the most challenging games I have played. The graphics are great, the combat is awesome considering you receive different stances which do different moves. I was never really into soul-based games but this one I honestly couldn't ignore. In the future I really hope they add more to this game. Everything about it is engaging. The ones who don't like this game either believe it is too hard or they might not like these types of games in general. The bosses are insanely strong so the game keeps you on your toes the entire fight. Some battles take me 10+ tries to beat them. I don't mind it though. This game could end up being GOTY at this pace. There's a reason it is rated so high. Get your hands on this immediately, it is actually fire af. No regrets with this purchase.

Update: After almost 1.5 years coming back to this game i can finally say that Battlefield 2042 is pretty decent to play. Yes it is not like Battlefield 3 or Battlefield 4 but this is most definitely playable at the moment. The game still has its flaws but in the state it is in now, it should have been like this at release. The player base would have never fallen off into oblivion and the reviews wouldn't show the lack of attention by EA explained by us gamers. Everyone who purchased the game at launch, like myself included, felt completely back stabbed by DICE only because of EA. The developers have definitely been working hard to revamp the game. The hit registration and weapons finally work. The added a bunch of new well developed maps and new characters. Classes are finally back but the only issue is they can use any weapon they want which is annoying in my opinion. Yes, an in game store does exist and everything is overpriced and looks halfway decent. Credits cost an arm and a leg, maybe your first born. I spent majority of my time playing COD MWII and i had enough of that sh*t. I needed to see what the talk was about for the fixes on 2042. The negative comments recently are full of a bunch of people who complain about the game still not being a AAA FPS but lets be honest.. it can get there. I feel like this game can have a lot of potential to finally be a solid choice for a FPS. Another issue i noticed is it takes a few tries to launch the game. EA's launch application is terrible but once it finally launches there's rarely any issues. I experienced one problem playing today and that was like a 10 second frame freeze. I also firmly believe a few hackers are up and about in some lobbies. Hitting impossible shots. This is battlefield though, good luck getting that little bird. People will wait in the vehicle selection menu. Overall i am very impressed with the updates that occurred. Just trying to convince my friends to give it another chance..

EA should really be ashamed of themselves for releasing such an unfinished game. Like everyone else, I was so excited to hear that 2042 was being released after that Battlefield V ♥♥♥♥ show. A game design that showcased beautiful maps, great game play moments and clips historic to battlefield has become a washed out franchise ruined by a multi-billion dollar money mogul scheming company. I really want to like this game, it has so much potential but they will never pull the game off the market, shut all the servers down and really take the time to fix this disaster of a game. It is sad that i have wasted 69.5 hours of my life on this. Every single game i find myself ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and becoming furious but like an abusive relationship i just keep going back wishing it could be better. Seriously though, this game is pathetic. When i shoot someone in the face with a round, it should REGISTER and not give me a little fart of blood that shoots out their character without any damage being done. Do yourself a favor, listen to the reviews and DO NOT buy the game. This could possibly be the last time i purchase a Battlefield from EA, especially if they keep making it. No wonder so many Devs stepped down from the company of DICE. Thanks EA, thanks yet again for rushing out a game, thanks for the empty promises, thanks for the lack of commitment to your fans and a great franchise. You're the best.. as*holes.

With a little more than 219 hours on this game i can hand down say that if you are looking for a competitive FPS, then this is the one for you. This game will make you rage, make you focus and will make your heart pump faster than any other FPS you have played especially when you're out numbered. The community reminds me of CSGO as you do have your toxic players and your chill players and then your downright weirdos. Drag a couple of your friends into this game but make sure you at least buy the complete edition with all the operators otherwise you might now like the game. Getting those credits is a grind fest and makes the game no fun. Voice chat is a must in this game and you will occasionally run into a few people who talk, others are in a discord call typing toxic stuff trying to make their sad lives enjoyable so ignore them. Try to ignore the toxicity and just have fun with this game!

So i've been playing the game for about a year and a half and heres what i have to say;

PROS
- Challenging gameplay need to use tactics and communication inorder to win
- You actually have to be good with the weapons provided due to the recoil of some weapons
- Dont need an expensive computer to run this game even though it would look great with one
- You can make more than a few dollars by investing into the game (don't do it now since valve made it impossible)
- Over all a very competitive game and you need a lot of practice in order to be decent at it
- Workshops are sick AF and theres plenty of them

CONS
- VERY VERY TOXIC COMMUNITY
- You will run into hackers its just bound to happen. Usually people will boot them but some keep them around for the W
- Game gets laggy at some times to the point when your shots dont even register
- Needs a lot more maps and the game should drop more than ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass gray skins and cases

Overall a solid game and i would rate it a 6/10 maybe. It's a fairly old game but its still playable and enjoyable.. at moments.
