More like cringe floor 2.

I originally had a large scathing review about some problems the devs didn't address in the past, luckily they got rid of those issues and replaced them with ones that are just as bad if not worse.

My current issues are the absolute smackdown the engine changes put on AMD machines, and the graphics options now available to the player.

I have two friends who ran the game just fine before the patch who either can't run the game past 20 fps now (previously getting 90 just fine btw) or can only render the game as a sky-less eldritch vista where hunters exist on a brown texture-less plane suspended in a white void.

The ability to turn off vegetation rendering past a certain distance is absolutely insane. Granted, when you ADS in the direction of unloaded foliage, it loads in. While not aimed down sights however, you may spot a completely concealed motionless hunter as if they were standing in the open on pure barren soil. Even if your machine is fully capable of running this game at max settings, there is still an incentive to lower your vegetation rendering distance to more easily spot enemy hunters, who may not be able to see you watching them as they are currently rendering a bush that you are not.

Additionally there is a similar situation with global illumination in regards to spotting enemy hunters. You turn it down, the game looks worse but you can see people better. You have always been able to turn down your lighting in this game to more easily perceive enemy hunters, but global illumination just makes it a little easier to spot them now.

Also how am I supposed to look at prestige rewards? This is a real question, I've been looking in the menu for like an hour and I don't think I'm allowed to see them. Weird new hunters have shown up in my roster and I don't know where they have come from.

So stealth isn't working in my stealth game, I can't play with some of my friends, and the new prestige rewards I got all worked up over and imperceptible so I don't know if they're worth me altering my play-style to maximize XP so I can hit prestige 100 before I'm 100 years old.

Do not buy the game until these issues are fixed, trust me. If they're never fixed, do not bother at all.
