You literally only operate a basic blue print steam engine. Nothing more. Nothing less. Takes some time to get used to but if you fiddle around enough you should be able to figure it out.

I don't normally go outside the usual games but I saw that trailer and knew I had to play it. Overall, a very enjoyable game to play. The atmosphere and tension really don't let you rest easy unless your equipped on your train in but outside... You're not safe. I'm not sure if this is just me or part of the game but when I completed a mission Charles was just waiting for me and just thrashing around and all I could do was just sit in the corner of a tent like a child as he mangled a poor sap nearby. It was frustrating at first since you can't really fight him. It's sorta like Mike Tyson vs. a kid who put boxing gloves on for fun but after a bit of getting used to fighting and upgrades. You're now Buster Douglass vs. Mike Tyson. It really is fun. 10/10 would recommend.

Now as you can see I've racked up quite a few hours playing War Thunder now. To start off with the game is good. It isn't bad as it could be alot worse such as pitting M4 Shermans against King Tigers for the Realistic spect of WW2 but it isn't great either as this game can be very hard on you at times as there are a few things that can be fixed such as giving better spawn protection and other things. I'll cover alot in this so stick with me for a moment.

So when you start the game gives you tanks from the 1930s and you fight others that give you a chance of killing which for most countries is quite easy (Depending on the country). As you climb the tech tree, it starts getting harder to kill things and you need to figure out stratigetys and figuring out how you want to play it. A good example is light tanks. They don't have much armor so it's preferable to not go into the heat of battle but flank and be sneaky.

The game has a great verity in vehicles and usually always has something fresh and new to add to the game. These types of updates come roughly every 2-3 months and they try to add a new country every year. As of now they have the USA, Germany (Nazi, West and East Germany's grouped together in the same tech tree), the UK, the USSR, France, Japan and Italy. Speaking of which they are about to add the Italian Tanks.

This game also like many other games does have research system to get new vehicles. It's sorta like World of Tanks, World of Airplanes and World of Warships but the biggest difference is. It doesn't take you as long verse those game and the research system is quite good overall.

So overall I'd recommend this game but be weary as this can be one of those game that you can like or you don't but I think it's worth a try and see what's up if you like shooting tanks, flying aircraft or sinking ships.

Not gonna lie. It's not very good. I tried my best to enjoy the game but I have a gaming computer from 2017 and it had a tough time with it. It lagged so much I was basically running in slow motion most of time time. Another problem is the numorious bugs I found with in the first 2 hours which I had to look up which almost made the game over all unplayible. I think it could have been a great game and I'm looking forward to Just Cause 4 and Just Cause 2 was awesome but this feels like it's just something they made with most of the budget going to bright graphics with little for everything less.
