2.4 hrs on record
TL;DR: At only 2 1/2 hours long with frustrating controls, and effectively zero replay value I'd struggle to recommend this game even at the Holiday Sale price.

You play as two brothers (simultaneously) on a quest to find the cure for their dying father by solving a bunch of puzzles and finding the "Water of Life".

The game runs about 2 1/2 hours through a strictly linear story. The puzzles are all incredibly simple, and the only real challenge comes from the controls (and not in a good way). While the concept of controlling both characters at the same time was interesting at first, more often than not I simply found it frustrating. This is compounded by an often less than helpful camera, and unncessarily "picky" trigger areas especially in a number of the jumping sections.

The game seems to be going for more of the artistic and is probably better compared to a movie than other games (puzzle or otherwise). In that regard I will give it points for its visual style which is relatively interesting, and for the most part consistent throughout. Story wise however I feel the game again falls short. I will agree with others that the game does a great job conveying emotion and telling the story, but the trouble is, there's just not much of a story there to be told.

As I said above, you play as two brothers who have set out to find a cure for their dying. There's not much more to be said about it without completely spoiling the ending. The entire "story" happens in the first and last 15 minutes of the game. The other 2 hours consist of (1) meet random person, (2) help person solve puzzle, (3) person points you in direction of Giant Tree containing Water of Life, (4) wash rinse repete, sprinkled with a few reminders that you're playing as brothers who care about eachover.

The ending, which everyone seems to be praising, felt drawn out and contrived. It doesn't really fit with the rest of the game's narative, and just sort of comes out of nowhere. The game slaps you in the face, says "we're ending this way now", and then you spend the last 15 minutes going through the motions to one predicitble outcome after another.
