Don't buy this at full price unless you're a die-hard fan who wants to support the English release (which is already confirmed to be coming out anyway, so maybe don't buy it at full price at all.)

The game is incredibly easy to beat, there are only 4 different types of games (minus the bonus rogue-like one), and online has some issues. That being said, the novelty of being able to play as my favorite horse girl was enough for me to want to get the game regardless and I enjoyed it.

Now is a really good time to get into the game because they merged all the servers into a single server and the game is being ported over to Unreal Engine 5 to give it a complete visual overhaul. They've also introduced this new tutorial quest with a character named Blaanid who guides you through all of the ins and outs of the game and gives you tons of free stuff to the point I thought I was playing on a private server with boosted rates, not an official one.

Like most free to play games, fashion is relegated to a gacha system, and of course you can buy and sell stuff from other players, so there's always a way to earn everything for free. I will say this though, compared to its modern contemporaries, the prices are pretty competitive. In most gacha games, a 10 pull will run you about $25-30USD, PSO2NGS for example takes $22 for a 12 pull. This game only takes $15 for an 11 pull. Only problem is that you have to buy NX through their store and not through steam, which is inconvenient.

I've only just started, but I think it's fun so far. I find myself a lot less lost compared to when I played this like a decade ago. Which is another point I want to make, this game is old and won't have a lot of the modern quality of life adjustments you might expect from newer games, but the community is nice and if you're ever confused or stuck on something, they'll be more than willing to help.

The campaign was fine to me. I'm not really invested in the story, but I had fun with it and exploring to find stuff. I haven't played CoD since the original Modern Warfare 2, so seeing the multiplayer maps have made me extra nostalgic and I've been enjoying that quite a lot. All of the content that was in MW2, or lots of it anyway, carried forward to this one, so I basically got two games worth of content for the price of one.

I can see how for people who bought the previous game might feel nickel and dimed cause of that, but for me, this was an incredible deal and place to jump in.

It takes time to make anything nice, and while there is a site where you can copy paste builds, I think automation/ai generation would be nice like a certain other VTT that's out there. I can't recommend this for the average person when they can use roll20 with their friends for free. This is, at best, good for a hobbyist. Even then, I would have more fun making these props in real life than pretending to play with them in a game.

But, for what it is worth, it works, it does what it you expect it to do, and if that's good enough for you, go for it.

Greatest game of all time, anyone who says otherwise, especially if they say "woke esg" are stupid and should be blocked immediately. (This is coming from someone who hates woke esg)

They updated the banner from that p!ss yellow ugly banner before and the game has gotten lots of additional updates. Unfortunately, it will never be as good as base pso2, and like the original, phasion is the end game which costs a lot of money and takes forever to grind if you're free to play.

You do get a random SG pull everyday, sometimes you can get a decent fit, but if you want to make quick cash or get the hot new items, you're gonna have to spend money or grind a lot. You might think it doesn't matter, but the fashion is really limited and you'll just end up looking generic otherwise.

I recommend if you're willing to spend money to look nice, or if you just want to mash buttons and kill monsters, but you'll need to get good and not afk if you don't want to get banned.

Seriously amazing. As funny as it is, although the game is called Crimesight, another good name would be FORESIGHT, as often matches can come down to predicting what your opponent will do. The player base can seem low at times, but there always people willing to play, so you may want to join the Discord and look in the matchmaking channel.
