When you click a creature, it sounds like XCOM, so I definetely recommend it!! :)

I got the game as a gift from pre-ordering Phoenix Point and I was not dissapointed! The tutorial is great, the UI is excellent, help menus are very detailed..everything seems polished and loved!
I've been playing the signle player campaign which is challenging enough (I stayed away from Chaos rules...too many bad memories from the RNG in XCOM!) but haven't tried the online, yet.

Go pre-order Phoenix Point and pass your time with Chaos, untill the release!

"The Thing" meets "Cluedo"!

Very fun concept! A few glitches here and there, but still, a great overall experience! Especially with friends! Be prepared to end friendships during gameplay!! I can't believe that my best friend lied and killed me just before I escaped!!

Absolutely no Pay-2-win, since you can only buy cosmetic stuff and XP boost.
Try it for yourself!

Support the devs by getting the DLC also!

*Edit: And don't forget to give some reputation after each game!

11 years after initial release, the devs release an expansion out of nowhere...no need to write a review after that!!!

I don't see how "Diablo meets WoW" in this game, as the devs advertise it in Facebook (which actually intrigued me into backing the Indiegogo campaign...). The videos looked great, so I thought I could have some fun and leave the dark, demonic world of Grim Dawn for a change.

I was utterly dissapointed!! The game is a very, very, very cheap clone of Diablo 3 (at least that part of "Diablo meets Wow" is true). They even followed that totally idiotic class-based attack animations!! For example, you pick a knight who fights with sword and shield. You find a Crossbow that really upgrades your DPS, so you equip it. When you attack, by some strange twist of fate, a sword appears in your hands and slashes against the mobs!! YOU CAN'T USE A CROSSBOW FOR RANGE ATTACKS, because you are a knight and range attacks are for sissies!

Dual-class?? Not it the way you might think, like Titan Quest or Grim Dawn, where you can combine skills and passives from both classes. No sir. Here you just get to chose which of the classes you want to be at a particular time!

Graphics? Below par.

This is just Drakensang but you have to buy it and THEN use the cash shop to play it!!!

If you want to spend some money for an ARPG, I would suggest Grim Dawn, but surely not GoE... I am sorry devs..

This is a nice game, with funhy cartoon-like graphics and a sence of humor. As many others have already commented, it is a next-gen Runescape. So if you are in to Runescape, go ahead and try it.
If you don't like Runescape or don't even know what it is, then DON'T try this!

Unfortunately, in my opinion, the game is heavily Pay to Play!!
From the 35 hours I have on record, the 30 or so were consumed on clicking on trees, mineral nodes and anvils in order to level up crafting skills..And I managed to get them to level 15...I can't imagine how much time it would take me to get to 50...Of course, you can speed up the process by using harvesters, but you have to pay real money to get them! ;)

Travel pads (the way to teleport between areas) require travel stones. You get 1 free for every travel pad you discover (I got 7). If you are 3 areas away from the main city, you have to either travel on foot or use teleport..After 4-5 freebies, you HAVE to pay to get Travel Stones..

It also has a farmville simulation! Plant. water, collect crops in order to level up your villager skills. At least crops deliver some good in-game cash...

There are lots of other examples of situations that you have to pay in order to avoid the EXTREMELY OUTRAGEOUS LONG and TEDIOUS grinding you need to do.

If you are looking for fancy 3D Crysis-like GFX, then this is not your game, but, if you were alive in the 90s and spent tons of hours playing UFO: Enemy Unknown, then just stop reading and play this game!!!

The best remake even to actually capture THAT feeling and then DOUBLE IT!
