My hours may not look like much now, but I loved the demo on itch.io and played the ♥♥♥♥ out of that despite how short it was. Even if I've barely sunk my teeth into the full release, this is more of the same as well as many additions that I know I will have to look forward to.

Just bought the game on release (around 5am for me) and played for an hour before work, getting the first 5 climbs down before having to leave. This blatant disregard for my sleep schedule should be enough to peak your interest in the game. I will update this review when I've beaten the game once, and maybe again at 100%, but right now I'd honestly recommend it on asking price alone, if not simply because there are so few good climbing games, and this nails it.

This world also just oozes character; from the gray-scale default coloring scheme (although there is an option for color in the settings), to the character interactions (of which there are more than I expected just from playing the demo), to just the little details on the maps and packages. I am very much looking forward to what new surprises this game has to offer.

My question for the Dev right now is on what the update policy is going to be? Like are there going to more climbs added over time in free updates? And is there any possibility of modding or map creation tools to make our own routes? I understand if something like that could be difficult but am curious nonetheless. And thank you for making such an atmospheric and special gem for those of us in the quality-starved climbing-game community!

(P.s. if you plan to add more climbs I would politely request more difficult man-made structures, such as a factory or a prison)
