This is a great game. Fun, goofy, and really well made considering the pricetag.

Would highly recommend.

I like this game; it's fun, easy to get into, and smooth to play. Not much more to say. Easily worth the cost, especially on sale.

Excellent realization and renovation of the genre. I love the way they've innovated on towns and settlements, and it's extremely satisfying to build everything.

Only complaint I have right now is some bugs that I'm sure will be ironed out soon.

Great, simple game with a very engaging soundtrack. The dino driller is too cute, I constantly feel bad about dropping him.

The state that this was released in is honestly shameful. I'm not 100% sure how any executive could look at this product and decide that it was ready to go.

My main issue with the game is how terribly it runs. The FPS is so garbage that it quite honestly makes me motion sick to try and play the game. It's horrible. Not to mention the countless reports of the game crashing repeatedly and people being unable to play. Truthfully, I wish I would have had that issue so that I wouldn't have had to try to play and adjust my graphics settings to no avail.

The DLC issue doesn't really bother me like it does a lot of others - it's a single player game, and it's really just "pay to skip the grind" with ONE NOTABLE EXCEPTION: atrocious to have a $2 item to alter the appearance of your character. That sort of thing should be readily available at any time, period. And the game launched without a "New Game" button once you started?? I honestly can't believe it. Absolute garbage wrapped in a pretty bow with a $70 price tag.

Do better.

Aside from server issues (which I know they're working on) the game is great. Would highly recommend.

Larian outdid themselves again. Easily one of the best RPGs we've seen in years. Does a great service to the previous two games, extremely fun to play, (mostly) faithful to the D&D ruleset, compelling companions, and depth that you wouldn't believe. I can't recommend this game enough. Support games like this and hopefully some other major studios start to pay attention.

Extremely cute game that can be played by anyone. Honestly my favorite parts about the game include progression feeling very natural, the story hitting some emotional notes, and all of the secrets and challenges are focused around cutifying the game further.

Excellent, highly recommend at any price.

I think this game is a prime example of spectacularly fun gameplay hidden behind poor optimization. I really wish that the game wasn't plagued with graphical issues and technical problems; the crashes and ridiculous loading times hinder what the game could be.

I'm giving the game a thumbs up because I see the potential, but I really can't stress how important it will be for the long-term health of the game to quickly fix the technical problems. The game is fun, the combat is brutal, and the characters have depth and personality. It feels GREAT to be but a humble servant of The Emperor.

Also, it seems that a lot of people are whining about the mtx for some reason, but it's all cosmetic and doesn't affect gameplay in the slightest, just like these kinds of in-game mtx should be. Pay them no heed.

This is a well-made RPG maker game. Excellent storyline, fun character interactions, and engaging gameplay.

I really like the auto-battler type mechanics that perform based on your squad cohesiveness. Very appreciative of the time and depth given to the default squad leaders; makes the characters interesting to have on the roster together.

There's a significant amount of depth you can dive into to min-max your characters, including a unique and interesting "affinity" bonus. I will caveat that that is also one of the major downsides of the game; there is complexity and depth, but trying to remember every small interaction is very difficult, and the UI doesn't make it very clear what some items do and what their current bonuses are. That being said, the devs commented they're actively working on this very issue (and developing a UI overhaul).

The key items that I think are tough to manage:
1) Ability to identify at a glance what certain abilities on a character sheet do
2) Ability to manage squads in a time-efficient manner
3) Comparability of artifacts assigned to squads, and the ability to organize artifacts into a tidier system.

However, the game doesn't force you to participate in these systems. You can very likely finish and enjoy the game without ever interacting with the affinity system or squad management, and simply roll out into the world with pre-defined squads. Could you do this on the hardest difficulty? Likely not. But they have an easier / adventure mode where it's just a story-driven campaign.

Overall, excellent. I highly recommend it, and I'm looking forward to future games published by this developer.
