Some thoughts
Presentation - It started off with a decent pace and picks up quite well up until the second half of the game.
Graphics - It looks quite alright in 4K but there's nothing too fancy about it & having additional control over graphical options would've been nice to have.
Sound - It's good enough.
Gameplay - It ended up with me only using 3-4 of the items after aquiring all of the available weapons.
Lasting Appeal - Could see it becoming a replayable title from time to time if you get the itch.
Final Thoughts: Not being able to turn Chromatic Aberration off really pissed me off considering our eyes are not a camera or video recorder.

It's alright.

Around 410 hours played
About 6-8 Full playthrough's since October last year, 3 with Hearts of Stone included, 2 with Blood & Wine and one with both.

Both the main game and Expansions have their ups and downs and clearly visible hoops of glitches, but they can be overlooked for the finer things in them.

Taken about 4235 screenshots since i started, why i still have them is for posting in Witcher threads. Don't ask why i still keep them around though.

Presentation - 8.1
It is the final game which we play as Geralt of Rivia, in an adventure to find someone dear to him and defeat the Wild Hunt once and for all.

Graphics - 7.9
We all saw the bullshot trailers and screenshots, and despite the fact it was simply downgraded for consoles doesn't mean that PC did not have the tools to fix it(Still no REDKIT in sight). With a few mods you can easily turn it around and make it better for yourself (I do prefer the mod that reveals the hidden graphical options).

Sound - 9.5
It does it's job and it does it well (apart from the obvious wilhelm tier screams in the distance). Some musical tracks are worth keeping the ingame music on for, and some not. Get the .FLAC version of the OST for some goodies.

Gameplay - 5
While being a tremendous upgrade from 1 & 2, it still have some trouble with moving Geralt around, the combat too while slightly improved from 2 it still needed improvement. Let's not talk about his horse.

Lasting Appeal - 10
If you like the game (and series) you can easily get 70 hours on your first playthrough, and that's not counting the expansions Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine.

Overall score

Fun little game.
Characters are well made and have their own nice personality.
Daisy is best girl.
Largely detailed maps and good looking areas.

But. You cannot play with 5 friends that can take turns in being the monster.
There is a small lack of proper optimization.
It is riddled to the brim with "optional" DLC spread across editions and platforms
$70(€60) for the base game, then another $60-80(€70) for the rest of the content. That is of course if you choose to pay for the latter.
It's published by 2K. Remember Mafia 2? Or perhaps you would like to be reminded of Horse Armour from Oblivion which was the foundation for this whole DLC mess in the first place?

Research your games well before buying a product from a publisher like this.

I like this game, i really do. But in it's current state, it is not worth buying. You would be smart to wait a year or so for sales to pop up. But i do recommend it if you have four friends or more to play this game with if you have some time over. Just think of what you are in for before you buy it.
