Any game that has a "Subscription" to access the DLC/Expansions is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and if you're paying for it, You're an idiot.

Overall, The Story is fantastic and makes up for the faults the gameplay itself has and genuinely captures the Star Trek TNG-Voyager era feeling, If you can pick it up on sale, I would definitely recommend picking this up if you grew up with Picard, Sisko, & Janeway as your Captains(Kirk too!),

A Little Note on the Story:
You may want to re-watch The Last Outpost from TNG & The Passenger From DS9 to give you the freshest take on the backstory, but as somebody who has watched both series multiple times, you'll be fine

The Gameplay is "good" - but not great. There are moments where you'll likely end up re-loading just because they suddenly decide to throw a different Quick-Time event at you that you aren't expecting, even if you're a veteran to this type of game, its not done particularly well at times, Stealth is Janky but in the player's favour most of the time.

The characters are fantastic, both new and old, interesting and generally well developed with room to see the characters potentially show up in a series(If they ever decide to show us more from this era of Trek)

Reloading is a pain, they take you right back to the beginning of the Sub Chapter you're on, at times I ended up on my phone waiting to go through the Dialogue options/Quick time events again just because it took me further back than I would have liked.

The Graphics ; The Lighting felt "off" to me unless you have HDR Enabled, The lighting on the players main ship just felt, wrong the entire time to me - more like you're in the Klingon Great Hall for most of that part of the game, I didn't like that vibe. The Animation is absolutely terrible at times well,

The Sound and voice acting were fantastic, all Trek Authentic as far as I recall, aside from certain character's actors having passed on.

Great replacement for the original Overwatch gameplay - So Far.

So long as they don't Nickel & Dime us to death with the Battlepass or Start locking heroes behind paywalls, this game should be around for quite sometime.

Needs balance but that should be fixable, again with time

Very - Anime but Not - Not Quite Comic Book, Not Quite Anime-esque feel graphically

All of the voice acting for the heroes/villains is quite solid, nobody felt particularly out of place.

Great potential provided the developers don't get greedy & stupid like we see so often these days.

No Cross platform progression for a free-to-play game is kind of pathetic in 2024,

Excellent Remake!

The only problem I have with it is the same as everybody else seems to - and that is the voice acting, that being said, There is already a mod that has been released that reverts back to the original voice acting.

It looks fantastic, and plays just like you remember, smoother, and prettier for sure. Defending the beach with Arkantos again was extremely nostalgic upon starting the campaign.

I also played around with the editor for a little bit and I have to say - I cannot wait for some more patient/dedicated people to get their hands on that map editor to see what they can come up with.

I wish Social Media was more like this.

When I downloaded this I wasn't in a good spot mentally starting my Monday morning. I didn't feel good about alot of things, I don't even know how this popped up on my Steam store page; but It did, and I clicked it and bought it on impulse.

I spent the rest of my morning before work writing and replying to different messages, hearing about other people's issues, venting about my own, by the time I was ready for work; I felt better, and it helped me through the day.

I don't think this is something that I'll play for hours on end or anything like I would other more typical games, but I will definitely be venturing back here the next time I'm having an off day, or time.

lol, Its $2.37 CAD.

If you didn't know what to expect for the price;

You aren't a very wise gamer.

Amused the hell out of me for a few minutes, Reminded me of a game I played that was more or less the same thing when I was way younger.

Ridiculous; Have not tried the VR Mode Yet.

Early Access Review
This game is awesome. Think; DDR on Steroids. If you are only playing the default songs - you are missing out, this game was MADE TO BE MODDED! - The Community for this has already released a LOAD of custom songs that cover just about all genres from Pop, to Memes and everything in between - Sticking with the default 12 songs robs you of what this game is capable of.

This game is the next step in DDR-Esque games. Beat Saber gets the blood pumping, and is an absolute blast to play.

And if you're looking to burn a few extra calories? They've got you covered.

Looks, Sounds, and Plays fantastically well and has made me love VR even more.
