The direction and camerawork are solid, and overall, the production quality is good. The acting is decent for a project of this scale, though it sometimes feels a bit wooden.

The plot is fairly average and sometimes silly, but this film doesn’t aim to be top-tier cinema; it’s more focused on entertainment. For a multiple-choice film, this plot works well enough.

One significant disadvantage is the lack of choices. Greater control over the character’s dialogue and behaviour would have been an improvement. It's quite difficult to fully dive into the game without such controls. Sometimes, the main hero acts unexpectedly and does stupid things.

Everybody in the reviews mentions the length; however, I think it's alright, taking into consideration that this is a multiple-choice game.

Lastly, there’s no 4K or HDR, but I don’t think it's that significant for a 2017 game.

Как бы много я ни говорил о недостатках этой игры, её прохождение — это незабываемый опыт. Те эмоции, которые я испытал после игры, и сейчас, когда вновь зашел спустя долгое время, остаются на высоте. Смысла в рецензии, думаю, нет, ведь их и так предостаточно. Все минусы давно забыты, а чувства и восторг от прохождения всплывают каждый раз, когда я запускаю или вспоминаю ее.

Not a lot to say, actually. Perfect gameplay, plot, soundtrack and graphics.

Nothing to say. Poor story that has nothing to do with the original films and books. Bad unreal engine graphics with some tech issues as a gift. Terrible gameplay.

Detroit is an exceptional masterpiece, brilliant in graphics, directing, camera work, soundtrack, and story. The game create beautiful cinematic experience. With perfect attention to details and game design. Detroit stands as a brilliant example of video games as true works of art. 10/10.

Perfect game with perfect developers. Must play for everybody.
