DOTA is like driving on the highway. Everyone driving faster than you is crazy and everyone driving slower needs to take the step it up a notch because they are slowing everyone else down. In DOTA either you play with toxic people who expect perfections or people you want to yell at for making you waste an hour of your time because they decided to go jungle when the home base is under attack. There is no middle ground, every game is one or the other.

The problem is the highs you get from DOTA are like no other. When you find that perfect match you get a rush of adrenaline and a true sense of accomplishment like no other game ever made.

I personally take longs times off from DOTA, like a year off at a time, because the players just infuriate me to no end. DOTA can cause me to go to bed with heart burn and that just isn't healthy. But those highs man, they make you come back for more once you've forgotten how low the lows are...

I would avoid this game if you've never played it. Its not worth it to your sanity or health... then again I'd say the same about drugs but those sure can be fun.

If you like Old School CRPGs with modern quality of life touches this is the game for you. I'd go as far as this might be the greatest grid based first person CRPG I've ever played.

A program that uses the internet to spread support and love. For the reason alone this "game" deserves recognition. Is it a game that is super fun you'll play for years? No. But you can find other games to do that. This game lets you spend a few minutes to feel better about yourself and others, and who couldn't use that?

Dark Souls with guns and Bloodborn's movement. I'd still recommend this game if you want to play it single player but its really meant for multiplayer. So far the community has been great.

The maps are good but not great. its super hard to have great maps that are procedural but this might be the first time I'm prefer procedural maps over custom made ones. Why? The multiplayer, that's why. When you help other people their map is 100% knew to you. It isn't just the layout but items, bosses, almost everything. You can see stuff when helping others that you'll NEVER see in your game. There is also bonus that some bosses give different loot depending how you kill them (Think cutting off tails of bosses in Dark Souls).

I was playing WoW Classic and Outer Worlds but I grabbed this game while on sale and now can't stop playing it. Keep in mind Souls games are probably my favorite genre and I was upset Sekiro didn't have multiplayer so this game was tailor made for me. Still its a great game and if these types of games interest you at all don't hesitate to buy it.
