My friend bought this for most of my friend group one day while he was feeling generous, and he's been challenging himself to get a higher and higher amount of hours played every time he comes back to this game. He's locked me in his room pleas

9/10, it's got a little something for everyone.

NGU IDLE stands as a god among, "Idle Games," as anywhere from an hour to a minute in this game never feels wasted, the feedback loop of the game's, "REBIRTH," system being the most prominent in letting your hard-fought accomplishments flourish with each fresh start.

With a constant stream of new mechanics around each big corner, and a reluctance to force older mechanics into redundancy, NGU IDLE manages a progression system so strangely crafted that it appears to be held together with sticks and glue. Taking a glance under the hood of this game clearly shows a dedication to testing, solving, and testing again that a AAA studio can only dream of. This game is a finely tuned obstacle course, begging for you to overcome its challenges, and for you to crown yourself a champion.

For all intents and purposes, I do not like, "Idle Games." I spend an hour on most of these games and quickly delete them. A game that has any major game mechanic in playing the game for you is a game that understands that it's wasting your time. I see the appeal, I'm a person very prone to spending hours on little flashy games, and my time on NGU IDLE should help to prove that. NGU IDLE genuinely takes the mechanic of, "Idle Playing," to a genuine level of compassionate game development, lacking any of the horrible and overbearing micro-transactions implementation following games in this specific genre like the plague.

I genuinely can't recommend a game on Steam more. It is my most played game of all-time, I come back to it constantly with a smile on my face, and it's actually operated as an accidental clock more than once when I check my progress and I realise some counters have been running for five hours. I genuinely can't believe this game is free, and it's sad to think I would've skipped this game if it had a price tag attached.
