The real void is the feeling that is left when you are done with this journey.

Turned out to be a beautiful and classic metroidvania, after so many years.
Its mysterious and haunting world is totally alien and fascinating, making you want to explore all its parts, secrets and cryptic lore and dialogues.
It's a joy to wander and fight among melancholic and delightful art and sounds.
That's what makes it special.

Early Access Review
ADULT

EDIT: Now it's just a memory, as of the one of a normal shop/equipment UI.

One of the deepest platformers ever designed: challenging and hard levels, astonishing and brilliant soundtrack... but mostly a touching and beautiful intimate story about confronting yourself, your fears and personal anxiety.

Perfect mix of a brawler and arena game.

Unlike other multiplayer games, Battlerite is 100% based on your skills and therefore you don't have to rely on unlocks or other advantaging features. Although still in early access it provides a wide variety of heroes and the almost feature-complete game which will suck a lot of your time and provide much much much fun, delivering a yet-to-be-improved experience only in little and side aspects.
Very easy to learn but hard to master... this is a game constantly updated and really supported both by the awesome developers and the community which is always listened.

A game which is going to shine in its genre with its simple beauty and gameplay... I'm confident this will even get better month after month. Try it!

Badger simulator is shallow.

Everyone loves badgers, right?
I don't think that's enough to make a good game, tearing real gameplay from it and hide behind the visual dynamics of an artsy representation of a natural world.
In Shelter there isn't really much to do, and the game relies on your "ability" to make the little animals which follow you around survive, walking around and concretly doing nothing of interest.
The outcome is sadly a boring excuse of depicting something that wants to be different but ends up being only badly streamlined and shallow.

Daedalic's first attempt in the RPG genre is a solid one. An experienced software house, mostly famous for their many graphic adventures, managed to bring us a game which delivers a grand amount of turn-based tactical rpg goodness, focusing on combat, even if it doesn't shine in terms of storytelling and pure roleplaying. What is mainly fine with the game is the fact that it never gets boring, since every battle is different, well thought and characterized, other than being intelligent for example making the battlefield often interactive with the party characters skills: a mix of variety and possibilities with a functional adaptation of the TDE combat system.
Personally enjoyed all over the long duration of the campaign, planning and battling with satisfaction on a game that needs attention and ability over situations thankfully non-easy nor banal. Dealing with improvements on the less considered sides of this role-playing game, like story, characters history or C&C, would make a perfect sequel for an already substantial and well-directed game.
