Amazing game, there is just so much to do.... but after a while, it does get a little boring, it's more fun with friends.

I absolutely loved Origins, and I love this (so far) even more. Sure, it's very similar to Origins on the surface, but once you get into it, it's a much more personal game, giving you the ability to make your own decisions (to an extent), but we'll see how much those actually impact the game later on ;)

I spent two-three hours alone on the first island exploring the beauty of it, and simply adjusting to the combat. The fact that you can have special abilities is completely new to this series (as is a lot of other things). I see what people mean: this is very similar to an RPG.

The world is massive, and it feels limitless! It's amazing. Not to mention they took the ship mechanic of Black Flag and added it here, but it feels more realstic, ESPECIALLY when you board a ship. Instead of having the little cutscene in Black Flag, it sinks immidiately after you kill everyone, and you have just enough time to loot and then get back to the ship before it sinks under your feet. It's honestly awesome.

You will need to watch out for your level... similarly to the last game, the bounty hunters are back, and they're as strong as ever, except they're a lot cooler with special attributes (from what I've seen). I couldn't think about taking on the first hunter until I was level 4, and even then I was still nearly beaten. The level recomndations were real in Origins, but here they're even truer to their word.

This game is amazing... to me. If you hate long grinds, don't like spending amounts of time leveling up through "meaningless side-quests" etc., and if you hate where Origins took the franchise, avoid this game. Otherwise... I completely recommend it.

*Posted not a week after Jurassic World 2 release* ;p

Of course I expected this game to run terribly, and it did, at least for a GTX 960. However that wasn't my problem with this game. It was fun at first, and I got a nice, eerie feeling as I walked into the forest for the first time. I nearly had a heart attack when a raptor jumped at me. Other than that, gameplay was dull.

One of my biggest issues was stamina, of which you had none. You could run maaaaybe 5 seconds before running out, and then you were done until it recharged between 30-45 seconds later. This was good for melee fights since it encourages players to save it and use it wisely, but I think you should at least make regular walking a little bit faster, it took ages to go anywhere.

The amount of dinosaurs were very limited, and they were pretty dumb in that they'll attack you, then forget about you. Or they'll come up to you and not even attack allowing you to kill them.

I did however like the exploration feeling of this game. There was no crafting system, thus if you wanted to get better items to kill the big guys, you had to push deeper into the forest and look for abandoned structures with loot nearby.

All in all, while this was obviously not a deeply impressive game to play, it gave me a couple hours of joy while I wandered about looking for dinos. Despite some bugs and poorly desgined game mechanics, this was still somewhat enjoyable, and if you like the idea of tracking down dinosaurs (or being tracked down by dinosaurs), you should give this a shot.

You cannot get into the game without customizing your settings first. Default controls depend on your numpad... yeeeah I don't think so.

You can't run/sprint, it doesn't even work (and even if it did, it won't let you use left CTRL which is what I always use for sprinting).

You can't aim via sights when shooting, making guns inaccurate in the shooting range. Once you get into the game, this doesn't even matter though, it's pretty easy to land shots. Still very annoying and unsatisfying though.

It's very hard to play though, you can't even silently take down someone without him making a phone call before he dies and a helicopter comes swooping in. Fortunately guards are pretty dumb and the only advantage they have is numbers. However besides this, gameplay is pretty dull.

I only recommend if you're a Hitman fan, like old games, or are playing for nostalgia. Otherwise, nope.

Fantastic game: atmosphere is amazing, gameplay is a challenge (until you get the hang of it), and you can't help but pause to catch your breath after you find a place to hide from a monster.

I preordered and played right after it came out. In my opinion, the extra three levels (contained in the Expansion Pack) weren't nearly as good as the original story, but maybe because I just didn't like the new character so much.

Still a really good game, if short, and if you haven't played it, I recommend you do. I do think you should stay away from the DLC unless it's on sale however, just not worth it.
