I didnt use any discount to buy ALL products linked to GTactics, as i wished to support them. But the "Hi-res graphics", if they had the will to make it a support-way for future products, should be 2 to 4.99$ max, if not free, as customers already spent a more than fair amount of money on the game and its DLCs.
To criticise the 'game', that you admit is OK with 24.5 hours of your total 25 hours played coming in the past 2 weeks might be viewed as slightly unfair, why not judge the game on the actual gameplay and your experience of playing it? now that you have a few hours under your belt.
By all means mention your justifiable dissatisfaction in regards to the DLC pricing policy but to base your entire critique upon that single matter seems a little unjust.
