I mean, you can compare to other space-themed games, but when friends ask I just tell them it's Fallout in Space, and that's not a bad thing, and sometimes it's a good thing when comparing to other space-themed games, if that's something you're not into. If you like Fallout, this translates well. Personally, I love space and the concept of space exploration, and this is probably the closest I'm going to get to it.

I guess I was somewhat disappointed I couldn't blow up a planet named Megaton though... and if you can, someone correct me, please! XD

It's like Halo, but funner.

This is the most entertaining childrens game I've played in a long time! 10/10, gonna keep playing!

I personally believe this game was given a little too much critisism due to being way too different. I love the cross between Call of Duty and Resident Evil. It was a nice refresher while we waited for the release of Resident Evil 6.
