Islands of Insight could have been a fantastic game, but unfortunately, it falls short in several key areas. The game suffers from technical issues, a lack of developer engagement with the community, and poor communication from those maintaining it.

On the positive side, the puzzle design is genuinely well done. I’ve spent around 300 hours in the game, primarily due to the well-crafted puzzles. However, the online mode is a frustrating experience, and the offline mode becomes nearly unplayable once you've solved a significant number of unique hub puzzles.

The only thing that has kept me going is the desire to achieve 100% completion and the small but dedicated and friendly community behind the game. But as it stands, I can’t recommend the game until major fixes are made—which, unfortunately, seems unlikely at this point.
