Sony is working real hard on paying those big shots youtubers to shilling this crap. How about you take 1% of that money to fix your darn game? The optimization is crap on my 4080 pc and the server, on my gosh, you see my 1.5 hours of game time I only get to finish the tutorial, setting up the character and the first mission for like 10 f minutes.

I would be laying to say it's a bad game. It's definitely not matching up with l4d's standard, but at very least, it's released polished. And the developers had indeed delivered what they promised to begin with.
30% off is a reasonable discount. Purchase the base game now and have fun, wait for improvements. And it would be better for you to wait for a bit longer till there's a 50% or so.

The campaign offers nothing but barebones tedious fetch quests, "Captain, take this from a to b. Captain, here's a map and go there to dig the treasure out. Captain, go kill those skulls."
Those were fine if you manage the game mechanics well and have a good company, and that was exactly what happened to me the first 20 minutes of gameplay. But then, here goes hackers.
I got some dudes spawned right after me in the captain room and one shot me, twice. I understand this game has been out for quite a while and there are quite many skilled players, but those I just mentioned were clearly hacking. That's not the end of the story yet. We hopped in another lobby, had some fun doing fetch quests until another team of possible hackers followed us on the high sea, bombarded our ship without sinking it, man seriously? We couldn't do nothing but standing in the nearby shore and watched. Just 80 minutes of gameplay and I had already seen the most toxic playerbase that goes the same as rust or dayz. You know what those 2 are like, right? Then get away with this one, too.
That was it for me. Don't buy this game if your intend is just to have some causal fun and want to go easy with people.

Thumbs up for the game itself, but 2k really need to reconsider its business practices. Even as greedy as ActivisonBlizzard starts to cut loot boxes from their game. Super Ultra Digital Deluxe Pre-order director cut edition, at the year 2020, come on, be a homie.
