Honestly I don't understand these negative reviews. Sure it has some flaws, but which game doesn't?

First of all - It's Free to play with NO P2W mechanics - this is a huge bonus for me.
The only thing you can buy in the store is the founder's pack (which is cosmetics) and battle pass Premium (which gives you cosmetics and currency)

Now keep in mind that this is EARLY ACCESS game - they have plans to add Coop missions (so you understand the story) and much more gamemodes - such as Free For All, Conquest, Plant the Bomb ETC.

also you get all the characters for free - you don't need to grind them

Edit: some people don't understand the term "P2W (Pay 2 Win not Play 2 Win * that's just dumb)" so I'm gonna try to explain.

P2W is the practice of buying in-game items WITH REAL MONEY that give a player a very big advantage over others. THIS IS NOT THE CASE HERE. The only skins that gives you a bonuses are called "Modifications" which can only be obtained with blueprints that you CANNOT BUY with real money. You can get blueprints by completing tasks, level up battlepass and by playing and winning the gamemode "Expedition" (PvE).

Hopefully the people now understand the term P2W and if the Developers add the option to buy blueprints with real money, then I will change the review to thumbs down.

EDIT: (10.10.2022) Yes I'm still reading your comments below this review and honestly - I cannot believe how some of you still cannot tell a difference between a skin and "modification". I'm not gonna explain it again, because I think I explained it the best I could. If you cannot accept it or won't carefully read it, then you'll never understand it.

Also some of you said that buying battle-pass is P2W. WHAT??!! If you would have said It's pay to progress then maybe I would agree with you, but do you know what's in paid tier and free tier?

In Free tier you have -
-- blueprints,
-- modifications (the skins that give you stat),
-- a few skins (that don't give you any STATS),
-- credits

In Paid Tier you have -
-- skins for characters and Weapons (that don't give you any STATS),
-- premium currency (that at the end of battle-pass will give you more than you paid),
-- credits

I'm a casual player (so I played like 1-2 hours everyday) - so paying 10 bucks for battle-pass that I was able to finish in 30 days WAS AWESOME (some games you have to sink MANY HOURS to complete the battle-pass).

Please if you have some sort of brain-damage, ADHD, ADD please contact a doctor. You only have one life.

what else do you need?

I'm not gonna talk about the game mechanics and what It's about - there are multiple reviews for it (or watch some videos)

I will only say this:
- It has a cross platform (PC, Xbox and Switch)
- Only the host most own the game (other players will download "Knight Squad 2 Trials")
- the game is REALLY cheap for what it offers (I thought it will cost like 25 €)
- There are no microtransactions - You have 8 knights at the start - all other knights you will unlock though challenges
- Everything that Knight Squad 1 was bad about - This game fixed it (at least for me)
- Still don't want to pay for the game? Well F*ck you - but of course if you cannot afford it and still want to play the full game - ask someone on Discord and you can play with someone who owns the game

The only negative for me is the controls for Keyboard (I have a controller so I'm fine) - but hey some people like those Keyboard controls

This is great if you want to try out how the mechanics works and if you like the game or not
PROS:
- It has all powerups
- You can modify the game
- You can choose team(Free For All, Duo, Squad)
- You can play online!
- You can play up to 8 players! (Bots will fill up the remaining spaces)
CONS:
In a Full Version there will be like 13 gamemodes? so I was kinda sad that there wasn't at least 3 gamemodes to try out (just like the early access)
- only 1 gamemode to play

HOWEVER - If at least one 1 player owns the game - everyone can experience a full game! Now if this is True - YOU LEGIT DESERVE A MEDAL!! WELL DONE DEVS

This game is GREAT!
It's just like L4D2 but with Aliens and way harder then L4D2 (My opinion)

Pros :
- Graphics
- Gameplay
- Progression
- You can grind skills (Passive bonuses that helps you beat higher difficulties)
- You can grind player level (Skins on characters, weapons and charms)
- Solo and up to 4 player coop
- Sounds
- New enemies (that are not even in L4D2)
- P2P (which means no server needed, the HOST is the server)

Cons :
- Playerbase (why does no one play this?)
- There's no workshop (but you can mod the game)
- It looks like there won't be any updates in the future

Update 2022:

I wouldn't normally recommanded this, but seeing the price tag and what it offers - this is totally worth for 16,79 € !

Holy hell! This is one of the best bomberman out there!
Why does it have mixed reviews? I don't understand

Pros:
- It has a Story mode which can be played solo or 2 player local
- Every character has a different personality - so they are not just a color
- Voice acting
- Maps are Unique
- Lots of gamemods
- Up to 8 players
- No microtransactions (everything can be unlocked by ingame currency)
- It can be played with AI

Cons:
- No players are playing this game :(
- Expensive (Buy it on site "Insta-Gaming" to get it cheaper)
- Can't rebind controls

Like I said if you get it cheaper it is defineatly worth it!
