I found the artwork and graphics to be very unique. The 'survival' aspect however is an old concept, but the developers of Don't Starve make the gameplay enjoyable with the large amount of content. Tons of items to make and that are necessary for survival, lots of interesting biomes, and so much you can explore! I've played for around 40 hours and still have yet to explore all content in the game.
