AS OF 5/6/2024, THE MANDATORY ACCOUNT LINKING WILL NO LONGER BE MOVING FORWARD. FROM PLAYSTATIONS TWITTER: Helldivers fans -- we’ve heard your feedback on the Helldivers 2 account linking update. The May 6 update, which would have required Steam and PlayStation Network account linking for new players and for current players beginning May 30, will not be moving forward.



Well, Helldivers 2 was fun while it lasted. Quitting if this becomes mandatory.

"As of May 6th, all new HD2 players on Steam will be required to connect their Steam account to a PlayStation Network account. Current players on Steam will start to see the mandatory login from May 30th and will be required to link a Steam and PlayStation Network account by June 4th."

This is the worst thing Sony and Arrowhead Studios have done with this game, and will push a lot of people away from playing. Some players in certain countries font have PSN available, so they have to resort to a VPN and some people dont know how to set that up. We've gone this far without it, why do you need us to fork over our personal information now? What's wrong with just playing through Steam? It's been fun but I'm out. Not making an account just for Sony to harvest data.

Probably the most relaxing game i've ever played, next to Minecraft, No Man's Sky, and SpaceEngine.

For $2 when on sale, it's worth it.

This games title explains it all. Got it for 50c and couldnt be happier with my purchase. Just wish the AI worked a little bit better to be honest.

After 420 hours clocked in PUBG, I think it's time for a review.

I bought this game in May when it really started to blow up. It was the only game I played for months straight. This game was like nothing else I have played in my life. It was so unique with every game so different. I had a blast playing this game for the time being.

PROS:
Fun for first timers
(I cant think of any off the bat since I barely play this game anymore)

Cons:

You need a high end computer to surpass 60 fps. My computer can barely handle this game, even on the very lowest settings. This games optimization is so terrible.

Hackers Galore. This game is filled with so many hackers. It's to the point where you see them every match and BlueBalls isnt doing anything much to stop them,.

Desync and Netcode. The game is incredibly bad with its network. Yeah its improved over time but it's still terrible.

There's just so many problems that are in this game. I never recommend anyone getting this version. Just get the mobile version and youll thank yourself later.

Even though I only have 2 hours played on this game, I'm still making my review.

PROS:
Tons and Tons of guns. You'd be surprised how many there are.
Easy on the eyes with graphics
Vehicles!
Interactive Enviorment at the end of the game
Fun gameplay
LITERALLY NO BACKPACKS, SO UNLIMITED INVENTORY SPACE. BLESS ON THAT

CONS:
Some games will not load the trucks to start the game
Game can get laggy at points
Wrong version go update
Hard to tell what Item is what, especially with armor.

Overall, this is a great game. I'd definitely pick it up while its on sale for FREE
