Today, we will all be remembered for being on the right side of history against Sony. It is a good day!

"Read the room Sony. You done F'ed up! I have a PSN account but I fight for our fellow Divers who simply can't make a PSN account due to restrictions."

Never heard of this game and randomly saw it on steam and decided to try it. This brings me back to NFSU days. I love its charm an almost analog backroom horror vibe style presentation. The 2F2F reference in the garage made me smile. The customization is really good. The audio is fantastic. And its sense of speed is on point. It is also really optimized getting 144 fps at 1440p on my PC. Gonna see if it works on my steam deck, which would be awesome. Highly recommend checking this out!

Buy it! Play with friends! I cant say how much this game has made us laugh using in-game voice. Well worth $10!

Like the game so far. Had to tinker with settings but got the game running on a 980ti and an Intel i7 6700k at 40-50fps in campaign and 50-60 in battle at 1440p on medium settings. Game still looks good and is playable. Make sure to turn textures to high from ultra. It saved me the most frames and you wont really notice the difference. Cant wait for updates when they add Mortal Empires and previous races. Its only gonna get better from here, dont listen to the negative reviews who really just want to run the game with everything on the highest setting at 4k and expect 144fps because they spent $1000+ on a 3060. LUL!

I went into this game with little expectation and came away actually impressed with it. I had a good time with it though I can see this game not being for everyone. This game has been described as a walking simulator but I feel that the game is much deeper than that. Its more of a go from point a to point b but we are going to add a geography puzzle and some weird Kojima story in a beautifully crafted world. I encourage anyone who wants a weird and different type of game then the shooter after shooter kill everything type of game. If i were to rate this game I would give it an 8/10.

It gave me a great single player experience that I was looking for to take a break from multiplayer games.

A fantastic single player storydriven experience that is slightly hindered by wonky shooting controls. I played on keyboard and mouse so it may be different with a controller but shooting in this game left a lot to be desired and was not at all satisfying. Many times I would aim on a target only to miss the shot because of the way the enemy models would walk and their head would bob to the side or up and down making it feel like headshots were a random chance, almost as if the hitbox was off slightly. Its hard to explain but it just felt off in some way. I also felt like it was a bit bullet spongey on certain enemys which isnt really fun using most of a clip to take out one guy. In the end it, along with the time powers, were ok enough for me to get through the game. The story alone was worth it and the graphics were pretty to look at especially during a "time studder." My only complaint is when it goes to a cinematic, it drops to 30fps which looks terrible when the gameplay is at 144fps then it suddenly drops when a cinematic is triggered. I would be excited to see a sequel to continue the story as the game was left with some questions unanswered for the clear purpose of a second game. All in all a great game that I did enjoy my time with.

Great game but.....hackers, hackers everywhere in almost every game! NA servers now seem to be mostly asian players who speedhack, autoaim etc. My group used to win pretty often and now when we get to the last circle we lose to someone who is hacking. And this started happening over the last 3 or so weeks. Time to take a long break from this game until these issues are fixed.

UPDATE 1/7/18 Now that the game is officially out I wanted to update after a few weeks of play. Cheating is now a central part of the game. I have only been able to reach top ten, after which I and my team is always killed by a cheater from china. "but thats racist!" yeah? How about for the fact that I can hear chinese in prox chat EVERY SINGLE NA GAME I die to one of these cheaters? They no longer use names, they use serial numbers which make me wonder that these people are farming to make real money somehow. PUBG is very cheap to buy in China so they dont incur as much cost like we do. Bluehole has said that they use stat checking to find players that are cheating. I find this to be very wrong or at the very least it doesnt work. If you look at the leaderboards right now it is dominated by players with 67% headshot ratio and literally unbelievable K/D stats. Oh and they got this good with 3 days of gametime or less. Which also means......THEY HAVE BEEN CHEATING FOR 3 DAYS WORTH OF GAME TIME WITHOUT A BAN!!! But its ok, I understand that to region lock an entire country until they find a solution is racist or whatever and it is completely fair to use that as an excuse. I have played less and less of this game over the past few weeks and soon I will no longer play. I am providing links on how blatant and rampant the cheating is. I will add more as I upload the recordings.

https://youtu.be/UfBZAgWUNY8 -Sorry for the swearing, you can just mute it. This was our third game of the day in a row with a cheater.

Spent many hours in this game. Steam count is inaccurate as I played outside of steam for a lot of time. Massive scale war. Pretty awesome community. And the game is still constantly being updated with new stuff. Do recommend.

This game needs more work and more stuff to do. I have played for 5 hours and it seems already that the game is just going to be the same all the way through to "the end"

Its fun and interesting looking at first, but over time you find its just an endless grind (not the fun satisfying kind like Diablo) and everything starts to look the same. On one planet you can find a green plant and you are like "wow thats cool looking" and on another you could find the same looking plant but its blue now and you are like "meh", and the same with the animals, same body different head, legs, etc. The outposts and buildings all look the same, they have no differentiation between the different races you come across. All you do is get minerals to fuel your ship so you can warp to the next system and repeat. I work for a living already, dont need to do it at home espcially when its not fun. The inventory in the game is a mess. You have no room for really anything, so if you like games where you can hoard supplies this is not one of them. Even part of your ships inventory is taken up by upgrades. Upgrade your weapons, guess what that is a whole space you lose. The game definitely feels like is was meant for a controller. The mouse keyboard settings dont feel good. In the menus, you have to click and hold for about a second to select what you want this includes opening chests and interacting with stuff in the world, not sure who thought this was a good idea. The sentinals are by far the most annoying thing, why are they on every single planet?? I thought no one was ever supposed to discover most of these planets until you, the player did?

The ship controls are not fun at all. You dont get to control the ship on the planet really. Its kind of like an on rails Starfox like game when your on a planet. You can choose to go which ever direction you want and look up to go back out to space. But dont expect to do any fancy flying on the planet for fun God forbid. Everytime you look down it wont let you go down past a certain point, see a hill in front of you that looks like you might hit it let the ship fly straight into it and it will automatically raise you to the altitude you have to be at. You want to land? The game will do it for you by holding "e" I just feel like this game was really boring and provided no challenge. Would really of liked to see the ability to manually fly actually anywhere on a planet even allow me to fly really close to the surface.

ALSO, there is NO MULTIPLAYER. This is fine but I was led to believe that you could find other players in the game. You can't it just a shared universe where naming things carries over to other players games. Dissapointed.

There are more complaints, but I'd rather be playing something else with my time. I just wanted to say "buyer beware."

Now, while I do think this is an interesting game because of the tech behind it, I dont think its worth $60. Wait until its on sale like maybe 75% off. I have requested a refund. Overhyped.

EDIT: This guy in this reddit post explains perfectly the issues i have with this game for the most part https://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/4xf1bt/no_mans_sky_pc_performance_so_bad_streamers_arent/d6fb5xd
