Oui, a homage is all fine and dandy, but yeah you got me there!! Originality is what it was lacking.
In some ways, it was even too short- SH told stories that needed time to settle and ease you in.
But yeah, it's not a deal breaker for fans of SH and of horror in general. Though I would much rather refrain from calling it "horror". It was more of a FPS wave shooter, sometimes~

Ah a homage to Silent Hill. That can't be bad at all, but some original concepts would have gone a long way too.
It sounds like there are some easily fixed niggles which would elevate it though.
