poetry is supposed to be a play on words
but the words connect
abstract
it's not about syntax or subtext
it's pain
it's art
it's tears and heart
fears and love
loss all of the above
feelings wrapped in memories
wrapped in people who are gone
moved on
so you share
you're bare
just a soul exposed to the cold harsh air
a prayer
is anyone there?
listening to this or to me?
listen or don't
i don't care
that's life
things don't always have happy endings
or even endings
