Best train simulator experience, period.
I absolutely recommend it.

It’s really realistic, and has so much attention to details that other train simulators do not have. You can either play in VR or in regular mode, and both are extremely good. You have a career and a sandbox mode. The map is huge, and after more than 30 hours of gameplay, I still haven’t discovered all the locations. The missions are really fun, there are shunting, freight hauls, and logistic hauls jobs. You can buy different types of licenses that unlocks transportation of dangerous or hazardous materials for exemple, and also different types of locomotives. Currently, there are 4 types of locomotives: Diesel-Electric, Diesel-Hydraulic, Diesel-Mechanical, and Steam locomotives. There’s also secret vehicles (A handcar and a caboose) which you have to buy the key from specific shops around the map to unlock hidden garages that give access to those vehicles.
The game makes you learn from your mistakes as you will eventually make some. You will either, go too fast in a turn and derail your whole train (and having to pay for the repairs), you won’t have enough power in a slope (and having to take another route or having to go back and attach another locomotive for more power), or while doing shunting, you realize you have attached the wrong railcars in the middle of all of them as you are about to finish your job.

I don’t usually review games, but this one is worth reviewing. It is a must have to anyone who are interested in train simulation or just in trains in general. It has so much potential and I can’t imagine the future of this game.
