Fun game but sadly the creator Justin Rolland is a bad person facing criminal charges for beating his wife. I feel bad that some of my money went to him as I purchased this on release day before this went public but hey at least now that he resigned from his position at the studio you can now buy this game without funding him. As for the game itself I recommend it but it's a bit expensive for the content, the gameplay is a bit shallow but the dialogue is funny so I suggest you get it on sale.

The core game seems good but feels dated gameplay wise and graphics wise. Just feels like I'm replaying Dark Souls 3. In itself that's a good thing but also a bad thing considering there doesn't seem to have been evolution besides the open world exploration aspect and it still retains the core issues of DS3 like the bad UI design and horrible menu navigation. But hey if you like Dark Souls 3 this will be right up your alley.

The big problem tho is the awful PC Port. Game is hard capped to 60fps and doesn't support any higher of a framerate and the game suffers from awful stuttering

Even at 1080p on a 9700k @5ghz 32gb of ram@3600mhz and an RTX 2080 @2040mhz core clock and the game on a WD Black SN750 nvme the game goes from being a stable 60fps to drops to 13ish fps for a split second out of nowhere in the open areas... This is innacceptable for this type of game that relies on well timed rolls/blocks,

I'm having fun with the game but I wouldn't recommend it for most people unless you're just desperate to play a Battlefield game.

A lot of things are missing, buggy or just outright completely broken

And performance is awful

Might be worth purchasing in a while on sale but for 90% of people this is not worth it
