I hardly review games but I took the chance and pre-ordered it and FINALLY a mainline sonic game that is just good out of the box. Its arguable that the last "good" sonic game Minus (frontiers imo) was Sonic generations 2011. Finally, 13 years later I can say sonic is back to quality again.
Why? Ian Flynn's writing. Its key. The comics have been the best under him and his writing in frontiers was something that you can tell when he was forced for things to happen / rushed. Not here. The game-play is solid and there are way to fix the control issues if you feel there are some. But the story and flow is right, Sonic games had lost there identity for 13 long years in the eyes of many fans or enjoyers like myself. This finally is a step forward.
They nailed the open Zone / overworld feel as well. Using new abilities to explore and find collectibles and just be free. At times where to do and how to get there COULD be a bit clearer.. But Im sure with time and possibly updates / hint / forced camera pan. That can be addressed. My only other issue here is I kinda wish they didn't just re-use older soundtracks. They didn't do that with Sonic generations 2011, They used remixes and remasters ALONG WITH the original songs. Not a huge issue but kinda a downer. At the time of writing I have only beat the Shadow story as the other half of the game is Sonic generations which I have already beat and completed to my hearts content.

I use this for my stories / books.
I have owned it for a little less then a year now.
I have 145 hours in it.
This is THE thing to use for creating any story.

Pros:
You can import files like ref sheets or location pictures.
You can use mods to expand what you can have on the tab to the right. Which you can leave open or closed as you write.
It is a must for writers.
It keeps track of word count in total and your daily count.
EVERY part is customizable, the backround the font the colors of text the backround all of it.
You also can use the steam cloud in the worst case something fails.

Cons:
You need to maunally save your work. This needs to be done before you try to import something as crashes can happen (they are rare.)
No youtube or music support. (Yet) This is a BIG issue for me. As I have to flip my screens every few minuets.

I will not get a refund, because it is fun to look at and listen to. Overall it's not a bad game. HOWEVER, if you like broken game mechanics like dodging (Which the game heavily relies on) and pulling your hair out at how you dodged the bullet that somehow still managed to hit you. (I have recorded a few instances where this happened and slowed down the footage, In a game where you must be exactly perfect on movement. Its hard to not laugh at how terrible it is.) I can't stress this enough, it looks fun and that's mainly all it is is looks and a decent soundtrack.

--Review--
Payment entry: Free, some ingame skins and things you can grind for or pay with money. Things that you want or need to unlock can just be got by PLAYING THE GAME.

Getting into the game: Poor, uses a third party launcher. As it kinda states you need a Hi-Rez account which making and useing one can be a pain at this screen. -1

Learning the game: They have a simple turotial and its fine, if thats not enough they have a training map where you can play and experment.

Gameplay: Ohhhh boy. I LOVE this game. The flow is perfect. They have cards for every Paladin which can manipulate there stats ect. (like weapons in tf2 but ballenced) For ingame when you die, you spawn on a mount which makes you run fasterto the point. No health packs. BUT if you can not get hit or fire a weapon there is a cool down bar once it reaches the end you hp regens. This game has moba items like less AOE damge or less Direct damge, more damage to shiels or more damge to deployables. Finally, we have abilities, mostly fair some things need adjusting but hey, its before the game's release ill let it slide. (Oh, overwach is released and its till not ballenced)

Design of game: CLEARLY some team did amazing work for this game. I like what it looks like and the Paladins have some decent skins. Some people say its not as good as Overwatch design wise. If thats why you play a game then just I don't know what to tell you. -0.5

TLDR:
OVERALL 8.5 / 10

Wow, what a game. The layout of review: Pros, Cons, and a summary.

Pros:
1. Great graphics.
2. Wonderful audio and use of them.
3. The game is adorable and visually appealing.
4. The idea is fresh and new.
5. In early access so stuff can be fixed and updated.

Cons:
1. I noticed lag or frame problems with too many slimes to render.
2. Physics bugs. (In early access so may get patched)
3. Only 7-8 Hours (at the time of review) of story or general progression.

Summary:
All in all, I was blown away by this game I beat the game so far that can be unlocked. But when new areas that the dev's release come out I'll be exploring them. In my opinion, the game is worth buying for $20. It's very fun mix of action, exploration, and most importantly farming. AND DON'T FORGET THE CUTE AS F*CK SLIMES!

I don't think a story is needed it seems kinda pointless, all you really need to know is your on a alien planet with slimes. The company that sent you there wants the plorts (poop) of the slimes, and they pay you for it.
Thats all you need to know unless they add a ending of corse..

Sh*t game nothing is as its advertized

THIS GAME IS SO BAD I LOVE IT
Its worse then bad rats and lots of other games on steam the tradeing cards are the best to. Anyway the game is buggy no directions are ever given.
THE VOLUME IS ON 100/10 so ear r*pe is alwase happening
Car movement is wonky and impossible.
If your poor soul BOUGHT the game here are the controls

X = Thrust / Speed up / Forward
Z = Booster / Use Item / Close postgame screen
Arrow Left = Left
Arrow Right = Right
Escape = Exit / Quit (no confirmation)

No options menu to fix the sound or graphics so modify them BEFORE you launch the game (trust me)
And finally... no im done with this review ill MAKE a better game with free softwhere then play this sh*t ever again.
-100/10 would never play unless for a joke.
