One of the best remakes PERIOD ! Labour of love is being modest for this masterpiece. I feel the same fear I felt back in 1998 and I'm damn happy as I thought I would never experience this feeling again.

Pamali is a narrative and story driven scenario based horror experience, that delves into local Indonesian mythology. For the Indonesian fanbase it gives a sense of nostalgia and terror, as it features urban legends that they grew up with throughout the generations, but it also serves a dual purpose for non Indonesian players.

It is not just merely an interactive horror game, but also a cultural experience for those that are unfamiliar. The aid of in-game notes, item interaction and being able to hear the protagonist's vocal input when you inspect items, all make for more of an insight, not only behind the story within the scenario, but also cultural and traditional knowledge and makes exploration even the more rewarding.

The gameplay is simple enough, it takes on a First Person perspective and you have to pick up and interact with items, follows specific information and rules set out by the game, in the form of a "to do list", but you know what they say, rules are meant to be broken, are they not ?

This is when the game takes on a whole other level of interaction. You start out with set task in order to go through, but each choice and move you make has consequences and depending on the choices you make, will depend on the ending you receive. You're ending might even be fatal, if you cross the line.

Each scenario has around 27 / 30 different endings, which gives it hours of replay value, as you go back through the scenarios to explore more and see what other outcomes can be unlocked.

After you complete the scenario you get a ranking, in which it gives you explanations of things you have done wrong and the reason behind why it's either negative or positive, for example, mocking the dead. In Indonesia they believe you should never challenge or speak ill of the dead, so in the result screen if you do something this negative, it will tell you why it's wrong from a cultural perspective and why you are getting a grading for it.

This type of immersion, mixed with learning is probably one of the best things I have seen, as it mixes fun and interactive game, scares the crap out of you, but also leaves you with more knowledge and appreciation for local Indonesian traditions.

I cannot recommend this game enough, it's reasonably priced, it plays well and has enough decision paths to keep you playing the game for a long time.

It's also created by a relatively small team of Indie developers (team of only 8 people ! ), so it helps them out creating the remainder of the scenarios that are coming soon and also supports the small Indie scene in Indonesia.

Indonesia has an incredible horror industry, making some great horror movies and games (such as Dread Out) and it's good to see their unique spin on the industry. They are not as well exposed to the rest of the world and are deserving of the recognition

It good to see more Indonesian Youths sharing their culture throughout media and opening up to the world a little more. There is so much Indonesia media that will one day flourish when they get more promotion worldwide, for good reason.

Keep up the excellent work guys, can't wait for the forthcoming scenarios and hope to see more projects from you in the Future!

Maaanntappp!!

Terima kasih banyak! To all at StoryTale Studios !

It's Yakuza, what else is there to say !!

Great beat-em up adventure, with a great origin story, hilarious side quests and enough minigames to have you playing for months.

To anyone that has never played a Yakuza game, wtf is wrong with you ! Get it, play it, love it !

Also Now is the best time ever for the Yakuza series. Yakuza 0 being the origin story and now on PC, it's only a matter of time before Yakuza Kiwami (remake of the first one that was released for the PS2) comes to steam, Yakuza Kiwami 2 (remake of the second game) and alongside Yakuza 6.

Furthermore Sega has announced that they plan on porting the other games in the series, so we could soon have the full library here on steam for you to enjoy.

Port for this is stellar, great customation and for once a Japanese Devloper has not locked the game's FPS. Running this smooth at 1440p and hitting 140FPS. It's well optimised and runs without a hitch.

Give a hand to Sega ! Knocked it out the batting cage (reference and pun intended) with this decision. Can't wait for more ! Always buy Yakuza games on the PS4 and then PC now.
Been a favourite series of mine since they where first released on the PS2. That and Shenmue which is also coming to steam soon, alongside the new third game !

What a time to be alive!

As a hardcore Doom fan for over two decades I can firmly say that Doom is back with a vengeance.
It's the fast paced, gun heavy, gory gib fest we all loved back in the 90's, only this time on a bigger scale and outstandinly gorgous!
If you are an older fan of the series or just a general fan of fast paced arena shooters, then this is must buy.
10/10 would rip the limbs off demons again and again !
