The performance issue this game has after reaching Kaifeng on a high end rig completely killed any interest I had in the game. Sad Really because I was loving the game as well, but between that and the way the settings work like you can't use frame gen if you use if you use HDR, FSR Frame Ge introduces character model artifacts and still doesn't help the performance issues, the controller randomly loses focus on menus and Fs it self just looks our right bad. there are mor things than that but This post would be too long otherwise all in all great game but if performance is a must for you don't bother the constant dips become annoying.

The production quality is actually 10/10. This game is good stuff.

The controller support for this game is atrocious for console, mobile and PC to a point where it looks like the game can't be played with nothing but a keyboard and mouse. Navigating the menus is a mess, in game the controller latency or what ever the cause is for the game leaning when pressing left or right bumper right after coming out of aim is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying its worse when you switch the aim lean buttons to left stick and right stick then the game really becomes unplayable on controller. I also run in to cheaters quite frequently on PC. I would play on console but this game runs and looks like ♥♥♥♥ on PS5 so I might just avoid this game all together too bad because playing this game on console is a good experience at least.

I don't know about this game anymore. I was hyped because it reminded me of some of Koei Tecmo games, i.e. Wolong Fallen Dynasty, Nioh, and Rise of the Ronin (mainly Wolong Fallen Dynasty), but right off the bat, this game failed to hook me. The scaling section in settings don't make sense, and the settings themself is a mess; there is a reason why motion blur is turned off, and that's because it's so fricking high that you can't use it.

Now the gameplay: not much to it, it has a bit of potential, but yeah. Movement is slow, responsive, but slow; dodging feels good, could be better. The combat is odd, to say the least. Why have different weapon types if they all feel the same, except the spear? That thing is slow as hell. I also don't get why enemies don't have hit stun from light attacks; it's so bad that while you're attacking, they can just hit you with whatever they want. Even doing that perfect dodge enhanced sword skill, some enemies just eat it and attack you anyway. And the attacks have no feedback whatsoever; it feels like I'm hitting thin air, has no weight to it, no impactful sound, nothing; it's like swinging around Papier-mâché. Tbf, I lost interest, so I stopped paying attention to the dialog, but from what I did listen to, VA is meh. The plot is forgettable, but the in-game rendered Cutscene I thought was good, at least.

Lastly, the performance: well, I have a 5800X3D, 16GB of 3200Mhz dual channel ram, and a 7900 XTX. I was playing in 4K max settings and had no performance drops, but the game randomly crashed, and I couldn't be asked to start it again.

All in all, this game needs Lords of the Fallen dedication to get to a good state; if the combat was at least good, people wouldn't mind, well, that is what I think. So, like I said, I don't know about this one; I might miss it. Also, why am I missing the white spectre and night spectre pre-order costumes? Don't understand how that happened, but it should be the first thing addressed.

I can't play a full match without this game crashing in dx11 or dx12.

From the poor optimisation to the long time they are taking to fix these issues, This game is riddled with performance issues I would strongly suggest not to get this game if you value you time wait for a proper performance patch. Fun game though.
