I'm surprised by all the positive reviews being how many "anomalies" there are in this game. I'm a long time STALKER fan and played all games through atleast once. Loved the last one and modded to death. Don't charge tripleA price for a half-baked game.

Positives:
-Feels like STALKER game

-Regions from all previous games onto one map

-Anomalies are plenty and for the most part fun to find.

-Pretty graphics (if you have the computer for it)

-Storage is accessible from all bases.

Negatives:
-Terrible optimization. Going into a settlement brings me down to below 5 fps and the best of times. (While the latest update said they fixed it and it's not as bad its still infuriating.) During a boss fight I couldn't do anything without constantly reloading.

-Game breaking bugs that include story missions. I should not have to download mods off nexus to fix broken main mission quests (I have run into this twice).

- The economy is broken. Repairing overall cost more than anything close you'll make from missions.

-If you take an artifact mission from a vendor and pick it up your UI will constantly spam you with the quest everytime you opened your PDA.

-75% of this game is running to locations. I had more a fun time running nowhere in DayZ standalone early days. It doesn't take into account that all mission items are very heavy and take up half your weight making the trek even longer.

-Half the time consumables don't work? From drinking an energy drink to taking a medkit won't work sometimes. Even after doing the whole animation.

-Factions? Gone reduced to atoms. Besides STALKERS every other of your favorite factions is gone/splintered/replaced. This includes the faction relations system.

-Every NPC has the same dialogue. Even in story missions where revive them with a medkit/save them afterwords they'll just keep telling you to go F off.

-Mutants are hard to kill and have no positive. You can't harvest part like previous game and serve as a bullet sponges. Most times unless it a story mission I run away.

-Stash's are not worth it. I go out of my way for a few rounds of ammo and some sausages and there are around 100 on the map. I only try to collect them to clear up my map, but not worth it.

-A-Life system is gone. Previous games AI's lived a life out from dawn till dusk. Developers removed it before launch because of optimization and now everything spawns withing ~100 meters of you and often having enemies spawn behind you.

- Guides or "paying for fast travel" aren't useful with the small amount of bases Most of the time I find running there is better because half the areas don't have a base location.

-World feels empty, but not in the good way like Fallout.

-If you fall anything under half a story roof you'll die.

- No nightvision or headlamps like in the previous games.

-AI has aimbot and will shoot you through bushes. Stealth is also broken and enemies will see you through walls.

-English voice acting was terrible. All other games had a blend of both sh **ty english/russian which was lovable. Everyone sounds like the phoned it in.

Don't pay $60 dollars for broken game. Wait until its on sale or fixed by mods.

This was a very hard no for me. I really enjoyed the free demo, but I see they fixed or improved very little.

-No saving midgame or being able to make another save file.
-Grenades are impossible to use.
-More than one softlock which had to make me restart the mission.
-Inventory and looting system is very tedious to use. It's better off to avoid looting because the amount of enemies they send at you.
-I played this on easy and it still seemed brutal, especially early game (I'm a xcom veteran).
-Weird complaint, but there's not enough cover.

I hope they improve it and I hope to see more updates.

I've been itching for a heist game since Payday 3's failure. Love the singleplayer, multiplayer needs some work. Big name actors like Machete, Chuck Norris, Michael Madison, Danny Glover and do a decent job acting their charcters.

Not as good as XCOM 2, but better than Phantom Doctrine.

Has potential, but needs more time in the oven.

Controls make the game unplayable. Terrible port.

Best Graphics and AI I have ever seen in a game by date. Great storyline and characters. Runs very well for how extreme the graphics are as well.
