As a Project Reality Vet, this is most recent update is the closest thing we ever got to a true successor to Project Reality. Gunplay feels engaging, teamwork feels like it is a core part of the game again, and the commitment of the dev team to improve on this update makes me have hope for the future. The movement away from a "Spawn - Run - Die - Repeat" to a more "See - Think - React - Coordinate" type of game is exactly what ICO and Squad overall was meant to be in order to properly live up to what Project Reality set in motion. Working with your team, listening to your squadmates, and playing your role is key to winning fights just as much as the whole game. You can't just Run 'n Gun your way to victory, no one player wins the game, it is a group effort all the way to the end, The ICO did wonders to match quality both in the gameplay and the players. So if you want a game that is truly a tactical, large scale, combined arms, shooter that isn't as formidable as ARMA, Squad, after this update, scratches that itch.

This is the Battlefield game EA and DICE was unable to make since BF4. How can 3 dudes in Unity do something that a Multi-million dollar AAA Studio with a in-house engine built for there game couldn't do since 2016?

It is Battlefield light. Has the soul that left Battlefield as a franchise and condensed it all into something nice and neat. It kinda gives me that OG Homefront multiplayer vibes where it mixes CoD like gunplay with Battlefield scale and teamwork. It has its bugs and is pretty unfinished, however it is miles better then 2042 in its current state.

I highly recomend this game to anyone who likes a fun stealth game. Only downside is the master online servers are down, but you can get around it by looking up different servers on the internet and using the "Connect" command to directly connect to servers. Great buy, totally worth the money.
