Far too much is locked behind DLC, just give us a complete game instead of making us buy it in pieces!

After the game was tainted with Epic my save no longer loads properly.
Plays some random cutscene audio and then crashes to desktop.

Early Access Review
VRChat has just committed further damage to it's already poor reputation, giving in to their corporate overlords, ignoring the community, blackmailing and filing cease and desists against anyone who dares to improve their trash-fire of a game...

Tupper is an outright hypocrite, criticising other games for being hostile to modding whilst pointing a gun to the head of modders.

The so-called "security" update does nothing for actual security since most crashers are avatar-based and it does nothing to stop rippers since the avatar cache is still completely unprotected and they can just bypass the game altogether and directly access their API.
Plus Easy Anti-Cheat is incredibly invasive, effective acting like a rootkit as it adds itself to your PC as a kernel-mode driver with completely unrestricted access to your system.

It is also worth noting that because of EAC VRChat is not no longer compatible with Mac or Linux/Steam Deck as the Proton compatibility layer can't run kernel-mode Windows system files and they can't even run it in a Windows virtual machine either as EAC actively blocks running in a VM... because of this I can no longer see some of my friends as often as they relied on the Steam Deck to be able to play whilst they were travelling...

They need to remove EAC or at the very least swap it for a less invasive anti-cheat that works with Proton, until then I'm going to mostly be on ChilloutVR, though unfortunately it's going to take a while for enough people to move over to CVR, for them to catch up in terms of polish (though they're not too far off) and for them to upgrade their servers (to handle all of the extra players moving over due to this update) to be able to stay there full-time...

The original trilogy is amazing but Halo 4 Multiplayer is awful and unbalanced.
It seems like the newer Halo games by 343 are trying to be more like COD instead of sticking to the tried and true formula of the original games...
And really infuriatingly the game temporarily bans you if you lose connection for ANY reason...

Controller users have an unfair advantage in multiplayer!
Contrary to most people's fears about PC players having an unfair advantage, in MCC it's controller users that have the unfair advantage due to the insane aim-assist and bullet/projectile magnetism... (Projectiles and bullets will literally curve mid-air to hit players...)

If you want to do multiplayer with mouse and keyboard I HIGHLY recommend going into settings > Network > Input-based Matchmaking

Breaks the game and makes it unstable if you have everything maxed out, it seems when they released this they never resolved an engine limitation that prevents it from allocating VRAM above 2GB, causing frequent crashes claiming that it's "Out of video memory" even though I still have 6GB of VRAM left (I have 8GB total).

DO NOT USE THIS IF YOU WANT EVERYTHING ON MAX!!!

They've massively changed the difficulty curve so it ramps up sharply after the first few missions, making them feel like a chore as opposed to being actually fun, level layout is nowhere near as good as Borderlands 2 and it's really easy to get lost.

When you get to around level 15-20 the enemies turn into bullet sponges, it took 15-20 shots from Project DD to kill a single on-foot enemy...

And about the new "Handling" stat...
Some of the most powerful and accurate sniper rifles in the previous games (Jakobs) have been given a ridiculously low handling stat... making it extremely difficult to hit anything with them... completely defeating the point of a sniper rifle...

Overall it's an alright game but it's marred by lazy design choices and artificially extended gameplay from bullet-sponge enemies.

I'm sorry but the current subscription model is complete trash...
You haven't given any reason for me to use this over Facerig and in fact all you've done is discourage me from using Animaze...
And a virtual currency to buy avatars, props and backgrounds? are you serious?
What you should have done is have the free version with the limitations but have a one-off payment for the Plus version with everything unlocked instead of a subscription.

Just save the subscription for the commercial rights...

For a "remastered" game the graphics aren't that much better than the original and the framerate is still capped to 60fps...
Unlike the original this version forces you to install Origin even though you bought it on Steam.
And if you try to start the game in Big Picture mode it immediately crashes!
Basically the only advantage this version has over the original is that you don't need to hack your save to unlock the DLC you already paid for.

A VERY fun game but the scoring system sucks and is not explained...
Your intuition tells you that to get a high score you need to hit every note... WRONG!
What actually matters isn't being precise, hitting all the notes and getting a full combo, but rather how far your arms travel before you hit it...
So could be precise and hit EVERY note and get a FULL COMBO in a RHYTHM game, or you could just swing wildly like a mad-man, miss half the notes and still get a higher score...

At first I thought this game was good, The basic gameplay is good BUT you have to pay to unlock even the most basic colours, later on in the game they severely hinder your progress unless you buy Platinum or grind for hundreds of hours and at times the game even mocks you for not giving them money!

I heard good things about this game, either they were wrong or they've changed since then.
Edit: Previous review still stands, put 176 hours into this game and still only rank 5...
