This is a scam, do not buy.

I can't play it nor can I get a refund.

When you open the game it will ask you to sign into ubisoft connect but when I opened it, it was telling me to log into an account which isn't mine. I contacted ubisoft support and they asked for proof of purchase and I provided it and they then just decided they wouldn't help and closed my case.
I reopened the case a few times and they wouldn't help.
I asked steam for a refund and they refused it because I bought it a while ago even though I only just opened it (I know this isn't steam's responsibility but it really leaves me with no options).

I would say that I am now boycotting all ubisoft products but it isn't like I even have a choice since they have decided that I can't play their games.

Just remove the ubisoft connect requirement, this is a single player game.

Thought it would be bad but it was actually good.

You can't play solo fully, I need to pause a lot and can't because of this, meaning I just have to hide and hope.
This also means when the servers are down (as of writing the review they are down) you can't solo.

Gameplay is fun but lacking basic QOL stuff PD2 had, this is basically just a sequel to PDTH.

The game also launched with only 22 achievements which is really low considering Payday 2 was known as an achievement hunters game with over 1300 of them.

Will change review if they significantly improve the QOL/amount of content or add a dedicated solo mode to avoid issues mentioned at start of review.

How many updates will you release without adding achievements??? I bought the gold edition when it came out because PD2 was THE achievement game so I thought I would really enjoy doing the same here. Where are the achievements??? If they don't add any more I want a refund.

It is missing a lot but is still really fun.

Was a WW2 game then they just forgot about that and just focus on modern stuff

I appreciate the effort to respond from a developer and if I had known they would respond I would have put more effort into the review, basically something needs to be done to make the content in the game that has been there for years more interesting to play.
The best way to do this in my opinion is to add a permanent attack and defence game mode like we saw in World War mode.
My comment about modern stuff is a complaint about how rather than working on making game play more fun such as new game modes, they focus mainly on adding more vehicles, and note that new vehicles are not a bad thing at all but shouldn't be the thing you focus on.
If new things are added to make the game fun again for someone like me who has put so many hours in I will change my review to positive.
